In the beginning, I thought it would be too big for my Hyundai Ionic. Also, we did not think the magnet would be easy to find. I took it to the mall and took it home to try it. It fits perfectly, and there are magnets which we could not feel on our hands, since they were firmly attached to the wiper area and the wipers were perfectly covered. It is not too heavy, nor is it too thin. She was worried that the wind would blow it away or it could be stolen easily, but the loops to be locked in the windows kept it secure. In Colorado, we had a lot of snow last night, so today is the first time I used this item. When I removed the cover of the windshield, the Mirror cover came off. I thought it was supposed to do that, but it didn't. Having driven a Nissan Frontier, I could tell that it was a little snug on my car, so if you drive an SUV, I would recommend buying one without the mirror covers because it might just rip on you as well. There is no way I would expect this to last.

It has not been necessary for me to scrape any windows. I love the feeling of getting into the car, taking off the cover, and heading out. The cold inside of the car has cut down the amount of time I spend waiting until I can see well enough to drive.
