Design with a simple approach. The money is well spent. Shock absorbers that are easy to assemble The cords at each end of the poles protect my wipers and windshield. It's easy to slip on and off the mirrors with the wide elastic, also used internally. A reinforced edge prevents wings from sliding back through the edge when the door is It is quick and easy to slip the mirror covers on and cinch them up. When I previously had to stop to clear frost off the windshield before leaving for work in the morning, this has been a huge time saver. This construction is of very high quality. Design with a simple approach. The money is well spent.
When snow is involved, it works fine. I like the way the door is secured with the locking There are many things that require a lot of effort to roll up so it fits back into its storage container. I have tried it a couple times and for now have given up until the cold weather goes. Over my F150's glass as well as the wiper well, the XL size barely fits. By no means do you want frozen precipitation to break your wiper arms. The product is a little less effective in the corners of my truck, but that does not impair its effectiveness.
I like this one especially when it is windy or sleeting. The fact that it fits in the bag provided would make it better. I live in New England so it must be in my possession! A new Acura MDX has arrived in my driveway The vehicle can accommodate up to 7 passengers. In addition to being short, I'm an older person as well. After my workday ended, I wasn't sure I would be able to clean the snow off my windshield after work, and the ice build-up on my wiper blades and side mirrors was not something I was looking forward to. My plan was to be ready when the snow and ice came! We were so pleased with how easy it was to put on and take off! The scraper I loaned to others for removing snow and ice was long gone when I was there. When I get back to it, I'll send it back. I smile (smile).
As a result, this is my second Frost Guard cover and I have so far been satisfied. Just a third of the windshield was covered by the first one. In addition to covering all but one inch on either side, this one has mirror covers that can be pulled to make it tight and works well even when snow is falling. There are times when I have had up to 8 inches of snow on my windshield, and to remove it, I simply disconnect the sides and pull from either side. In addition to the flaps that fold inside the doors in order to keep the cover against the wind, this cover has hooks to keep it in place. Although it served its purpose of covering the windshield and preventing frost and snow from building up, the thing is huge and the case that comes with it is soo thin. As if it were a condom that was too small, you'd have to sort of roll it up and try to stuff it into this narrow case. There will be no one who will remain outside in this weather!.
