Yes. It's a typical single-use plastic bag. blade with a straight edge
The length varies between 4 and 5 inches. The blade is very thin. Excellent scraper
This uses a razor blade; if you can use a razor blade on your stovetop, this will work.
Any standard razor blade, I believe, will suffice. By removing the twist-off screw, you can change the blade. It's not difficult at all.

There is no such thing as an "extra" blade. So, while I understand that this is merely semantics, it is misleading and should be changed. An Extra Heavy Duty blade is supposedly included, according to the title. This could indicate that there is an "extra" or replacement blade included, or that the single blade included is "Extra-Extra-Extra-Extra-Extra-Extra-Extra-Extra-Extra-Extra-Extra-Extra-Extra-Extra-Extra-Extra- Heavy- If there was such a thing as "duty," that would be it. It's not. This is a common blade. You could call it "heavy duty," but putting the word "extra" in front of it just confuses people, and the fact is that it only comes with one blade.
one, I meant to buy one of these a few years ago but didn't, and I desperately needed one, and this fit the bill, was inexpensive, and appeared to be sturdy and well-made. designed. It resembles a Husky black-and-white dog in appearance. tool that is yellow This is how I go about it: wet a good dish abrasive sponge with hot or warm water, soak it a bit, place it over the sticker carefully and let it soak a bit, wait, then scrape off the old sticker with the tool, clean and dry the area with a clean car cleaning towel, let it dry for a good 10 minutes or so, then apply new sticker. I find it to be effective. Anyway, this thing is clearly necessary; using a regular razor blade is possible, but this is easier and safer to hold, has a good grip on it, and goes fairly deep into recesses and sharper angles under the dash or around the windows. It's something I'd strongly suggest. Xacto knives are also not recommended because they are too narrow, potentially dangerous, and not designed for this type of work. I've also noticed that Home Depot no longer carries specialty tools like this, so you're probably better off ordering a few for your car or toolkit at home from Amazon.
I was dissatisfied with the scraper I bought at Lowe's. I looked for a replacement on Amazon, where I could read customer reviews and make an informed decision. That's what this razor was made for. It's an excellent scraper for glass-top stoves. The blades are simple to replace, but the blades remain secure. The Lowe's razor had a flaw in that it pushed the razor into the handle when I applied pressure to it. This handle is sturdy and long-lasting, allowing you to apply real force and scrape away stubborn gunk. br>br>Excellent value for money.
I wouldn't recommend it if this is a frequently used tool. However, for the price, I would recommend it to someone who intends to use it only occasionally around the house. The blade cover is difficult to put on and take off. br>br>Everything is made of plastic. It has a cheap feel to it. br>br>Unlike the cheap metal one I was replacing, replacing a razor blade requires some concentrated attention. Before the new blade can be screwed in, the old one must be unscrewed and the new blade must be perfectly lined up in the holder. I like how the metal one fits in so easily. Advantages: br>br> When the blade is attached and the cover is removed, the blade is firm and does not move. I used this to replace an old metal "push out" blade holder because the metal blade's mechanism never locked the blade in place, and the blade would frequently push back into the handle housing when scraping. Annoying.
There are many plastic blade manufacturers out there who sell a lot of cheap, flimsy blades. After only a few uses, I've thrown away a lot of those. When I went to the auto store, I noticed these on the shelf and decided to give them a try. This is a fantastic solution. Heavy-duty plastic that outlasts all others and is extremely convenient. I went to Amazon and found them. I purchased a number of them and am very happy with them. This small scraper gets a lot of use, and the blades are still in good shape.
This is the only way I can keep my shower clean. I know it sounds disgusting, but we have extremely hard water in our house, and my glass shower doors have a lot of hard water deposits on them. I squirt on CLR and then use this to scrape off the calcium, which magically disappears. I don't have to scrub for hours, and cleaning is extremely satisfying. Cleaning, on the other hand, always works better when I'm enraged and have a lot of extra energy. The blade on this stayed sharp for cleaning my filthy shower, but it was starting to dull by the end, so I'll need to replace it. The blade did not snag or move in any way, and the handle is comfortable to hold.
This worked great for scraping off the old bathtub/shower caulk in my bathroom (with the plastic blade). The scraper was comfortable to use and removed the majority of the caulk without damaging the tub or tile; I wasn't able to remove all of the old caulk with the plastic blade, but it did a good job overall. Because the blades are simple to replace, I'm thinking about using the metal blades to do some cleaning. The scraper is well constructed, and the protective cap adds a nice finishing touch.
I bought it so I could get rid of those annoying little emission/registration/inspection stickers that every state requires you to have on your car. The scrapper is small enough to fit in your pocket but large enough to hold in your hand, and the plastic is firm but soft enough to not irritate your hand while in use. I was sold on the protective cap. It is very easy to take off and put on. Another advantage was the ability to loosen the screw, remove the blade, and reinstall it backwards. As a result, if the cap comes off, the blade will not be exposed. My only complaint about this tool is that it doesn't have any storage for extra blades.
