To avoid future issues, spray the locking mechanism with silicone or lithium grease spray.
All you have to do now is get in touch with the seller. I would think that if you had just purchased it, they would want to settle the issue.
5 inches long and 6 inches wide It's also a great tool for removing snow. The snow we got yesterday in the Philadelphia area was so light that I was able to use it to push a path from my house. Furthermore, the length of the handle can be adjusted. I strongly advise you to purchase this item!
Interlocking poles were included in the version I received.

Let's see how long this goes on. I don't get free stuff because I'm not a "Vine" reviewer - I also don't have to write glowing reviews in order to get free stuff. I prefer to express myself in my own words, without bias. The evaluation: br>br> br>12/2/19 Update. br>It's been holding up so far. The head is a little wobbly, as expected - It was battered by the snow. However, I had anticipated it giving up sooner. I should be able to use it for another season at the very least. br>Because I live in the Northeast, I am used to dealing with snow and ice on my car. I've worked with snow brooms before - Over the years, I've gone through a few of them. br>I've used this broom twice now and am very pleased with it. The ice scraper is durable and effective, and the foam head is gentle on the paint. br>While some reviewers claim that the telescoping pole locks in, I have yet to experience this. PROS: br>br>
- (Lightweight) 2 lbs).
- 18- non-woven fabric, inch wide foam head with abrasive particles - Snow removal without causing paint damage is possible.
- A built-in ice scraper is included.
- auto- Locking telescoping pole adjusts from 30 to 49 inches in length. in order to broaden the scope
- When not in use, it can be folded up and stored easily. CONS: br>br>
- The handle is simply screwed onto the foam head. It might not last very long, based on my experience - It could easily break off depending on the amount of snow, especially if it's wet/icy. I'll keep you updated as time goes on.
- When used with ice-covered snow, the Styrofoam head may not last.
- According to some reviews, the pole can be locked in either an open or closed position. I'm thinking about spraying it with WD-40 as a thought experiment. 40 minutes before storing (and during the off-season) could help avoid this issue.
At 5 feet, 2 inches tall and a lifelong New Englander, I can attest that desperate times (aka 2 feet of snow) have necessitated desperate measures - To clean off my car, I used brooms, mops, and even a metal shovel. With the SnowJoe and a few push-ups, I was able to My car is completely cleared off in a minute thanks to pull swipes. max. I'm not covered in snow, irritated, late for work, estimating the cost of a paint job, or hoping I won't get a ticket for the small patch of snow on my roof. How and why had I never heard of Snowjoe before now? I believe it is unethical that fewer people are aware of this situation! It's a game changer in every sense of the word. I intend to purchase one for each person on my Christmas list next year.
It worked on the first try. The second was shattered. I'm very disappointed.
The video on the page is of a different type of telescope that adjusts and telescopes. What I got was a piece of cheap foam attached to three thin metal poles by nothing more than a plastic screw and held together by nothing more than pressure buttons.
Under a VERY light load, the first stage of the metal pole's head snapped off. There was no heavy snow or ice being pushed here - And then it just snapped. I'm disappointed because I had high hopes for this product, and I'm hoping there's a return policy that will allow me to get it replaced.
Make walkways out of it! I purchased one for my elderly relatives to assist them in removing snow from their vehicles. He was so enthralled by the long handle that he climbed the ladder and used it as a roof rake! It isn't particularly strong, but I bought one and used it to clean off the car and found it to be perfectly adequate. Because the head is so large, it only takes a few swipes to clear the windshield and windows. It's made of a thick foam, and I had my doubts about whether or not it would leave a mark. The price, on the other hand, is unbeatable for making a dreaded task a little easier. The rods snap together and, while I doubt they will last forever, they have served their purpose thus far. I'll return to review once it's broken. If there isn't an EDIT next to this review, it hasn't yet broken. I'll make an effort to keep track of how many snowfalls it can handle. **EDIT: It's now the middle of January, and I've already used this device to "shovel" a sidewalk. It's a light powdery snow, so I walked down the driveway and dragged it behind me, clearing the entire walkway in one swipe and requiring no shoveling. It removes snow from your porch without the need for a shovel. Even if it eventually breaks, the fact that I cleared two walkways and two cars in less than four minutes is worth it. Even though I haven't needed the backup yet, I'm glad I got two of these. Get one right away.
However, everything is fine! br>br>So here are my first impressions:
1. Because it's so well-designed, it should be simple to store in the car. br>2. Extension poles are simple to put together, but they feel shaky at the joints. This could be due to the fact that they are simple to put together. It's worth pointing out that everything is made of metal.
3. The foam is pleasant to the touch. And make certain not to cause any damage to the vehicle. Only time will tell how long it will last, but given the product's warranty, I expect it to last a long time.
4. It also comes with an ice scraper!
4. There was a warranty card on it, which surprised me. 2 year warranty plus 90 days bonus coverage, according to the manufacturer! That may be enough to convince you of the high quality.
