Yes. It should fit a Civic without a problem.
Even in windy weather (unless it's a hurricane), the flaps themselves, if properly placed and pressed by the locked doors, will hold it perfectly.
I only got it this winter, so I haven't had a chance to try it out yet in the summer. br>I used to have one that was similar but didn't have as many layers, fit inside the car, and worked reasonably well. br>This one completely covers the windshield of my Hyundai Sonata, is installed on the outside, and should help to keep the temperature and heat down by reflecting the sun. br>I hope that this information is useful.

Better than I had hoped for. It's a fantastic product that perfectly fits my Hyundai Sonata. I wasn't sure if it would fit, but it did when I tried it on ((snow forecast tomorrow)). About 3" above the top of the windshield, and far enough down on the hood to protect the wipers completely. When the flaps in the door are closed, the top of the cover is secured, and the bands around the mirrors fit perfectly. Due to the cold temperatures, I removed it and left it in the car for another two days. When I took it out of the freezer, I noticed that the two flaps were VERY HARD. There was no water in my car, so I'm not sure if the flaps froze due to some snow left on it when I put it inside; however, there appears to be no problem thawing the flaps inside my house. I still recommend it, and I've placed an order for a second one as a present.
It also guards against ice and snow on the wipers. To install, I open my door and let the flap hang down, then close it again to secure the flap. Then I wrap the elastic nylon around the mirror and do the same on the other side. br>br>To remove, remove the nylon from the mirror, open the door, and either pull the flap to the other side of the car, dragging the snow and ice behind it, OR remove the wrap from the other side, open the door, and pull the flap so the snow falls on the hood. br>br>The only drawback is that when it's wet, I usually toss it in my trunk and leave it to dry in the garage or a warm basement.
This is a fantastic cover that fits my RAV 4 perfectly, and it's also reasonably priced. Laying on the windshield and jamming into the two front doors while pulling the elastic loops around the backview mirrors is simple. I've used it twice now, once when there was snow and once when there was ice rain, and it worked well both times. The ice/snow just melted away. I'm not sure how it'll hold up in colder weather or with more frequent use, but it's perfect for me. It is extremely lightweight and efficient, as it has been keeping all the leaves and other fallout from the trees off my windshield when I am parked outdoors. As we approach the winter months, it has been extremely cold, and I usually have to wait to defrost my windshield before driving, but this time I didn't have to wait. I also like the mirror straps because they make putting this cover on super quick and easy.
My son's birthday is coming up, and I'd like to get something special for him. He gets up very early for work and school, and our winters are bitterly cold. He claims that not only does this save him time by eliminating the need to scrape ice and defrost the window, but it also allows the vehicle to warm up more quickly because the window isn't as cold. This is a photo taken early in the morning with frost on the hood and a clear windshield! This is also one of the highest-quality ones I've ever seen or purchased, and I'll most likely purchase another for my vehicle.
I've lived in Colorado for over 6 years and wish I'd known about this when I first moved here. I tried the windshield cover and it helped me save a lot of time scraping and brushing snow off my windshield. Even though there wasn't a huge snowstorm, it was still very effective. Because my windshield wipers were not covered in snow or ice, I could use them right away. My Mazda cx- is a good fit for the size I got. 5 but I wish it was a smidgeon wider because the flap didn't seem to be "inside enough" when closing the second door. But that's just nitpicking on my part. I'm not looking forward to the super-heavy snow and ice storms that we occasionally get, but I'm glad I have this in case they happen. Definitely a 5-star rating.
This purchase has made me extremely happy! This windshield cover was a must for us because we live on the snowiest AFB in the world and have already received over 100 inches of snow this season! It's incredibly simple to put on and remove: ) For grab-and-go, easy folding is always a plus! br>I'm looking forward to using it in the summer to keep the sun off my face!.
This helped me avoid scraping snow and ice off my windshield all winter. Although it fits well, I added magnets to keep the ends from flapping. I'd suggest it.
