It's simple to put on and does a fantastic job. When there was a chance of snow and sleet the other night, I put it on. We got some snow that night and the next day, and the sleet caused a crust to form. up on the roof of my car I had to tap my windshield to break the top layer of ice so that I could remove the cover, and then I brushed the snow and ice off before removing the cover. To my delight, my windshield appeared to be dry and clear, just as it had been before I applied the cover. Installing it is a breeze. Simply place the flaps-facing side on top, and the elastic loops around each side view mirror. Then, to secure the cover, open your door slightly and lock the flap in each front door. I also took care of the wipers on the windshield. Because that wiper was uncovered when I went to remove the cover, I believe the wind got to the passenger side, but not too much. Now I fold that corner under to keep it from being caught in the wind. The material used to make the cover is not inexpensive. It reminds me of a vinyl top with a rubber backing on a convertible top. It's the perfect fit for my Mazda CX5 from 2016. On a larger car or truck, it may be a little tighter, but I believe it will still fit. It's also simple to take away. Simply open a door and remove the flap, then the elastic loop on the same side, and repeat on the opposite side. Installation and removal are both quick - It only takes a minute or two to remove it, and then you can shake the snow off, fold it up, and store it in the convenient storage bag that comes with it. This is a lovely, well-made piece. It's a well-made windshield cover that's well worth the few extra dollars over a cheap one. From the looks of it, those aren't going to last a single winter.

Take a measurement of your windshield and don't rely on the Amazon fitnent chart. It's a windshield for a 2007 Ford F150, according to the manufacturer. However, as you can see in the photos, it is about 8 inches short of reaching the passenger side of the truck. This is not due to an improper installation. The product's quality appears acceptable, but I haven't had it long enough to comment on its long-term viability. I bought it in the summer to keep leaves off the truck's windshield, but I guess I'll have to order another in the extra large size option. waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa.

The windshield cover is made of a durable material and is incredibly simple to install. Each side has a flap with a tube that you close in your door, as well as an elastic band that loops around the side mirror. It is folded and packaged in a pouch made of the same material. br>br>We've had a few days of sub-zero temperatures. There was frost on the cover in every case, but not on my windshield, even though it was freezing outside this winter. I'm not sure why I didn't discover this product sooner and had to deal with ice on my windshield every winter! This cover is worth its weight in gold, not only in terms of the frustration it saves me, but also in terms of the fact that I can start driving as soon as I step out the door for the day, rather than having to schedule an extra 5 to 10 minutes for frost removal.

Years ago, I had an epiphany regarding the sunshades that you use inside your car on your windshield. They do shield the interior from the sun's rays, to be sure. However, the windshield continues to heat up, and the car continues to heat up. Then I realized that a windshield protector on the outside of the car would provide the best all-around protection. I've tried a variety of snow and ice products over the years, including cheaper ones from wish. com that blew around and didn't stay put. So. This is the first one that actually works for me. Between the tabs that you use to keep the door in place. You can also use the eyelets to loop around the side mirrors. It has enough weight to keep it in place. The only problem is that the backing is either rubber or plastic, and I'm not sure if I'll have to flip it if the heat in Texas is an issue. But, for the time being, I'm very pleased with the result.

I had just moved to a snowy area, and social media began targeting ads for snow gear at me like the all-knowing overlords that they are. When a version of this character appeared, I decided to buy it on Amazon rather than the website it recommended. And this one works exactly as advertised on the other one. We put it to the test during a recent two-day snowstorm, and were pleased to discover that no snow or ice had crept beneath it. The windshield was clean and in good condition. Just make sure that any snow that has accumulated on your doors is removed before you open them. I'm so new to snow that I forgot to wipe off the couple of inches of snow clinging to our roof and door seam, and I ended up with some in my car. lol. The windshield cover, on the other hand, is functional.

I bought this for myself because removing ice from my windshield in the winter has always been a challenge for me. However, I've heard that the majority of them scratch your car rather than protecting it. Thankfully, so far, this has not been the case. The extra stretchy bands that go around the mirror kept it in place, and the folds on the inside of the car door didn't leak water in. The only time-consuming aspect is going around the front of the car twice or more to secure it, but it's well worth the extra effort.

We'll see how well that holds up after a long period of installation and removal. In addition, the cover isn't wide enough to allow the flap to close completely inside the doors of a larger vehicle, such as a pickup truck. The elastic bands will not reach both truck mirrors if you have a pickup truck or a large SUV. On the other hand, it works perfectly in a car.
