Selected User Reviews For AstroAI 2 Pack 27 Inch Snow Brush and Detachable Deluxe Ice Scraper with Ergonomic Foam Grip for Cars (Heavy Duty ABS, PVC Brush)
PROS: First and foremost, these were presented in a lovely manner. Each scraper is supplied with a low-cost storage bag. They have a solid, long-lasting feel to them. The link between scraper and scraper The brush is strong but also easy to disconnect, and the foam cover is comfortable to hold because it does not conduct cold. CONS: br>br> It's difficult and inconvenient to use the handle. To the point where you can't scrape off ice without abandoning the handle and holding it near the middle, you can't scrape off ice without abandoning the handle. Which defeats the purpose of having a long scraper in the first place. The brush on one end and the scraper on the other, in my opinion, is a flawed design. Would be more effective if you used a scraper. On one end, there was a brush, and on the other, there was a foam handle.
20 dollars for two people? Okay. For hard or iced-over snow, the bristles could be stiffer. br>Having a long reach is a significant advantage. br>Includes a low-cost, high-efficiency storage bag. br>The two halves are simple to separate and join, but they hold together well. br>It appears to be made of high-quality glass-reinforced plastic. br>If you have large hands or are wearing thick gloves, the top handle will be difficult to grasp. br>I've always brought the $5 gas station junk; it's not a great product, but it'll do for now, and two for $21 is a good deal. I expect to get more than one winter out of these than the cheap gas station ones, which break easily and frequently.
On the first snowfall of the second winter, one of the brushes broke. Most likely used Apart from its durability, the broom portion of this brush performs admirably. It's the perfect thickness and stiffness for the job. br>br>The ice scrapers on these are worthless, as other reviewers have stated. Because the plastic isn't straight, it scrapes unevenly and only a couple of inches wide at a time, and it also makes a very loud, high-pitched whine that will wake the neighbors. br>br>I bought a separate brass scraper for ice scraping, and if you get a brush like this, I recommend doing the same. Unfortunately, even though the broom portion is excellent, the fact that it only lasted one winter and broke a few months after the one-year warranty expired makes this, in my opinion, a poor product.
In every way, outstanding! They scrape ice well, the brushes can handle a lot of snow and weight, the length is ideal for reaching across the top and windshield, and the handle grip is squishy and soft, just the way it should be. For the price, this is an excellent product!.
Handle is rigid and has a solid joint. To fit it into the storage bag, you must first disassemble it. I'm not bothered because I'm not prone to storing it that way. The scraper is functional, and the foam handle is comfortable, but the brush bristles, in my opinion, could be stiffer. The length is just right.
They're a good price, and they seem like they'll last me a long time, even though I only use them for a few months a year. They scrape off ice and snow as expected, and their design is attractive while also making them easy to locate in a dark car early in the morning. The only criticism I have is that they might be too short for someone who is short or drives a taller vehicle, but they are the ideal size for me.
but. So far, it appears to be durable, and the brush is adequate; however, both of my scrapers are bent, and they are unable to remove ice from my windshield. I'm not sure if it's a flaw or if it's just poorly constructed.
It was supposed to come with two full sets. Mine came with two sweepers and one complete stick (with scraper and sweeper). I was missing the second scraper completely. Then, earlier this week, we got some snow and went to put it on my car. . . about 3 inches of snow. . . and it literally snapped in half. Sorry, but if you live in an area where it snows regularly, this is probably not for you.
