Because of the low number of reviews, I was hesitant to purchase, but fear not, this is an excellent system. and there's a colossal screen! br>br>For a while, I had a smaller 7" AMTIFO system that I really liked. The setup is simple, as it is with this system. I wanted to be able to use the camera without having to turn on the ignition switch, so I connected the monitor to a constant 12v supply from under the dash. The camera was then attached to the back marker lights. In the back closet of my Country Coach, there is an access panel that made this very simple. Once both the monitor and the camera have power, turn them on and voila! They automatically connect and do so very quickly!! br>br>I also took out the original camera and covered it with a mounting plate before mounting the camera to it. To match the coach, I sandblasted and powder coated the bracket and plate. The installation has made me very happy. br>br>As you can see in my photos, the screen image is crystal clear. I also appreciate the wide-angle camera, which allows me to see everything behind and to the sides of the coach's rear. With the image of the car behind you and the same car in the rearview mirror, you can see what I'm talking about. There is also no delay in the picture feed when traveling at highway speeds. br>br>For me, this system is a win, and I would buy it again without hesitation.
I purchased this product to use with my pickup truck so that I could monitor my trailer, and all I can say is that it is an amazing product. I have another wired Amtifo monitoring system for my other truck, which is also great, but the setup for this one is just amazing, with no wires (except for power) and a huge screen! br>I took some pictures while unpacking, it was packed in a double box with a lot of padding, the instructions are great, just like other Amtifo products, and there are many videos that explain how to connect and use the product. br>The build quality is just incredible! I don't have to worry about the camera case because it's all metal and waterproof, and the back of the screen and stand are also metal, so it's definitely a long-lasting design. br>The image quality is better than the other system I have; the camera has a larger lens and four infrared lights; I tested it in both bright and dark garages; it has day and night modes and switches between them automatically. br>Overall, I think this product is excellent value for money, and I am very pleased with my purchase.
I ordered the 10" version of this kit, as well as a second (higher resolution) camera. If you're going to use this system for its intended purpose on a large vehicle, such as an RV or a motorhome, there is a SERIOUS design flaw with it. The antennae are set at a 90-degree angle to the ground. units with a 90-degree mount The angle of the antenna on the camera and monitor can't be adjusted because it doesn't have a hinge. The camera must be pointed down in its mount to see the ground when mounted high up, such as on our motorhome. The antenna will now be at a 45-degree angle. As a result, the angle is completely off-kilter. plane with the monitor antenna, which is roughly perpendicular to the ground As a result, there is NO SIGNAL. About 1/8th to 1/10th of the time, I get a signal from the camera; the rest of the time, I get a black screen with the message "No Signal. " br>br>If the antenna had a hinge, it could be adjusted to be on the same plane as the receiving units, as SO many other products using these stubby RF antennae do. As it stands, I'm guessing planes equipped with receivers are receiving video feeds as I drive. I, on the other hand, am not - Ultimately, this defeats the purpose. Until I can cobble something together (find a cable that fits and mounts the existing antenna to it, or find a replacement antenna with a hinge that actually works). ), but it was a complete waste of time and money. BEWARE OF THE BUYER.
I don't think it's the company's fault, but it could be the package's rough handling in transit. I first sent an email to the company to see if they could simply send me a new screen. Within an hour, I received an email offering to send me a brand new system, which arrived three days later with no expectation of returning the broken one. Wow . br>br>Now, let's talk about what's inside the box. Everything you'll need to get started is right here. The best part is that they provide you with a power splitter so you can test everything. I rustled up one of my many old leftover AC/DC power supplies that met the minimum requirements before even taking it out to the car, and it turned out to be perfect. Both the camera and the display turned on and connected right away. Real- There is no delay in the transmission of images over WiFi. br>br>So I started monitoring a Golden Finch bird feeder to see how it worked. The camera has excellent color reproduction, though it is a little contrasty, which you can adjust in the settings. When viewing the camera from a distance of 3 feet or more, it becomes fuzzy, but within a foot, it becomes razor sharp. Due to the extreme wide angle and up close image sharpness, this device might be better suited for use inside a bird house. The fuzziness at a distance is to be expected with such a wide-angle lens, and if you're using it as a backup camera, you'll want that up close focus, so distance isn't an issue. My plan, on the other hand, is to use it as a backup. replacement of the view mirror The ones on the market right now don't have the same screen size as this one, and the ones that do only give you half the viewing area. br>br>Installed in the van and was able to flip, mirror, and other functions that were extremely useful. Night- The vision lights, on the other hand, cannot be turned off while on night mode. I'm not a big fan of vision. The camera isn't very sensitive, and if you plan to mount it behind a glass window, the infrared LEDs will reflect off the glass at night, so I'd like to see an option to turn them off. In any case, a backup camera should only light up to a distance of 5 feet, right? br>br>As I was driving, I began to notice some WiFi scrubbing. Although the image became choppy, it remained on real-time. Thank you for your time, which is more valuable than delivering perfect frame rate and quality, so thank you! br>br>Overall, I'd recommend it if you need a large screen in a small package with excellent customer service. The display is extremely thin. PROS: br>br>br>br>br>br>br>br>br> The display is crystal clear, almost as if it were an OLED, and the colors are vibrant. The menu is simple to use and set up. It's ready to use right away. Customer service is excellent. CONS: br>br> I haven't yet figured out how to make the system work with two cameras. I tried the directions several times, but nothing seemed to work. Evening with the camera- The vision isn't great, and the infrared works well at close ranges, but this isn't one of those night-vision cameras. There's nothing unique about time-sensitive cameras. The distance focus is a little hazy, which makes sense given the extreme wide angle lens. All of these issues arise only if the user intends to use the system as a backup rather than a rearview mirror.
