The chain comes with two links. I purchased a pair of shoes to go with my snowblower. This is a good fit. To make the installation process easier, I'd recommend deflating the tires. Buy the rubber chain retainers at your own peril.
There are every other link on the side of the crosslink chain running over the treads of the tire, as shown in the illustration. Using a snow blower with these gauges is certainly possible.

If there is a gap in the chain going around the tire, then for me it works.

On my Ariens 22" snowblower, the chains went on easily and were well fitted. I hope the chains prove useful when the next storm comes along. There is no comparison between the chains available from local dealers and these chains made by H. Brown.
The chains are zinc plated and of good quality. Snowblowers scream for the real thing and this one is above average. Despite the busy Christmas season, the order arrived in just a few days. The snowblowers will probably outlast a few of them.
Having the same dimensions as the description made it a little challenging to put on. had no idea I would have to take on and off, so it worked out fine.
Even though the tires spin, they are still spinning. I guess this helps to a certain extent.
It is well designed, fits like a glove, and is of high.
They fit perfectly and they arrived on time.
I really like it. It took a little bit of time to install the first wheel, but it went much faster with the second one.
