The 4. 10- The GTU- 6 NHS is a tire that comes in a wide range of sizes. Most, but not all, will fit in 228. As a result, we've added the slightly larger GTU- For this tire size, use 236 (which can be cut down if it's a little too big).br>Roland

Chains fit my snowblower tires just like they said they would. The traction is noticeably improved, and they appear to be a "once-in-a-lifetime" investment. I completed the installation in ten minutes. 15 minutes later, a bolt-cutter was used to trim the end links, and I was ready to go. My only criticism is that where the ends meet, there is a gap in the tires where it appears that another band of tread chain should be added. This was after deflating both tires, installing them, adjusting the tread spacing as best I could, and so on. It wasn't a deal breaker, but it did leave me scratching my head as to what went wrong.

These chains are fantastic! This is a great set of snow thrower chains for my older John Deere, which no longer makes them

It took some time to get the cross chains properly spaced, but that's only because the chains are a perfect fit for the tires. cosy and warm I walked these puppies 50 yards to an outbuilding through a 14" deep snow cover with almost no slipping. Chains that are sturdy and well-made.
