Questions & Answers

Is this going to fit a 2021 Silverado 2500 LT crew cab?

Have you double-checked the length of your sentences? From the seller's point of view, or possibly a mess

For a 19 Silverado, how many mounting brackets are there on each?

My 2020 Silverado has four wheels on each side. The holes in the truck's frame are predrilled and tapped, and the steps fit in nicely.

Is this a two-wheeled vehicle?

not from one wheel to the next. They started about 3 inches from the front fender guard and ended directly behind the crew cab door and the truck bed's beginning.

How are stainless steel items holding up over time for those who have bought them?

So far, mine have performed admirably.

What you pay for is exactly what you get
4/5

These were installed on my 2021 Silverado Trail Boss the other day. Overall, the quality is adequate; however, you get what you pay for, and at $225 for a set, they appear to be well-made and durable. Overall, I believe they are worth the money; however, if you want better quality, you will have to pay more. That's why I gave it a five-star rating in terms of money value. These are good value for money at $225, as opposed to $600 to $800 for a high-end set. br>br>My main concern is that the end caps are made of plastic, and the supports are covered in cheap-looking plastic to make them look like those found on higher-end running boards. Instead of bolts, the covers are secured with inexpensive plastic fasteners. I'm not sure how long they'll last, but for now they appear to be in good shape. In the near future, I plan to replace the fasteners with bolts. br>br>In terms of installation, they're simple to do because the bolt holes on the Chevy Silverado are already tapped. So I took some plugs out of the bolt holes and bolted the thing together. Surprisingly, given how simple the installation is, the instructions are mediocre at best (the online videos are better). It will take some time to sort out the directions, but aside from knowing which runner is right and which is left, you could put these together without them. In general, the longer end is pushed to the front. br>br>Overall, the value for money is excellent.

These fit my 2020 GMC Sierra 1500 crew cab with a 5'8" bed, so they're a good product
5/5

Even though Amazon said it didn't fit, I went ahead and ordered it anyway because of the description. They looked great and were simple to put together. It fits right into the threaded holes on the truck that were provided by the manufacturer. They appear to be in good condition; we'll see how they hold up over time.

Steps that are fantastic As you might have guessed based on the title
5/5

These are fantastic steps to take. They look fantastic, and the photos do not do them justice. br>br>Installation was simple. It was simple to follow the instructions. br>br>First, you'll need something to pry the truck's plugs out. A flat head and pliers were my tools of choice. Second, I required a ratchet, extension, and a single socket. I'm not sure what size it was, but it worked for all of the bolts. br>br>This was my first time installing a set, and I managed to do it without too much difficulty. br>br>If you're doing it on the ground like me, I'll say. Tighten the top bracket bolts but leave the bottoms loose until you're ready to install the bars. Then tighten the bottom bracket bolts as well as the bar bolts with the socket and extension. Otherwise, you'll be attempting to tighten the top bolts by squeezing underneath. And if you're lucky enough to have one, you'll be able to use it. It's a tight squeeze for a lifted 2wd truck like mine. br>br>It took me about an hour to put these together, but that was mostly due to the fact that it was my first time. br>br>They fit well and do not move when my 250-pound body steps on them. br>br>If I ever bought another truck, I would buy these again.

Step by step instructions; When wet, the surface becomes slick
3/5

This step was simple to set up and did the job I expected it to do. Tyger makes a good step, but for two reasons, I returned it after a few days. 1. br>br> This step is powder coated and looks very clean and rugged; if you buy it in an area where there is no snow, you can keep it for life. The plastic "tread" that is under each door is the Achilles heel of this product. When it rained or snowed, the plastic tread became incredibly slick and dangerous. Because this was installed for my 5'4" wife and son, it was critical that they be safe in all weather conditions. When my wife got out of the truck, I told her to step on the "textured" metal instead of the hard plastic tread because it wouldn't cause her any problems. Aside from the slickness when wet, the plastic tread had fairly aggressive grips that scraped the majority of your boots/shoes. 2. br>br>1. br>br>br>br>br>br The second reason I returned this item was because the distance from the rocker panel could only be adjusted so far. If you own a truck with a two-wheel drive system, This step would be a good option for climbing into your truck if you have a 3 inch lift or a level kit. If you need a lower step on a stock truck and won't be taking it off-road, this is a good option. road. These steps hung down nearly 4 inches at their lowest point, reducing ground clearance between the wheels on a truck with an 11-inch ground clearance on approach. Crossing over a small hill or rut and having this step catch and rip out the bolt mounts under the truck was one of my fears. This step also stood out because it was almost flush with the outside edge of the tires, which, combined with the drop, gave my truck an unattractive appearance. I'll look into other Tyger steps because I believe they make a good product; however, this step was not for me.

Tyger Running Boards are a type of running board that looks like a t In about 90 minutes, I had these up and running
5/5

The most difficult part was removing the plastic covers from the truck's mounting holes. Don't tighten any bolts completely until you've connected everything. Additional hands would have made the job go faster, but with my Trail Boss's 2" lift, there was plenty of room underneath the truck to work. I really like the risers, and they make getting into and out of the truck a lot easier. The instructions were simple to follow, the bars are sturdy, and you can watch YouTube videos of the process to get a better idea of what you're getting yourself into. This product is without a doubt recommended!.

On the 2020 1500 Sierra Crew Cab, it looks fantastic
5/5

These were an excellent value and matched my 2020 Sierra 1500 Crew Cab perfectly. It's simple to set them up. It took around 20 minutes for each side to cook. The packaging and instructions were simple to follow. You just have to remove some plastic thread covers, then thread the bolts that came with the packaging, according to a youtube installation video (these styles all basically mount the same on GMC/Chevy). To avoid stripping them out, use hand tools.

Simple to set up
5/5

This was ordered to make it easier for my wife and children to get into and out of the truck. They're very sturdy, even for someone like me who weighs 215 pounds. It was simple to install into threaded holes that already existed. The brackets are only covered by plastic pieces for aesthetic reasons. It's difficult to get the plastic pop screws that hold the pieces together in place. Because they were so tight, I had to use a hammer to force them in. Very nice packaging.
