It is not clear to me exactly how your running boards relate to this tool's fitment? Rubber bumpers rest against the two ends of the strut as they straddle your tire. Can you please make sure your running boards are not in the way?

Based on my research into all the different tire steps, I came up with The price of half of them is drastically different on the same model made by one manufacturer. (2)The others are made with a lot less thought than they should. A sawtooth step platform like this one is available A smooth surface with perforated edges will provide you with great traction as you bend over into the engine compartment to remove pesky spark plug #6, or to rub In contrast, the other platforms are much smoother and would be much more slippery to do such things on. There are clips for adjusting the platform height and tire width, and the adjustments are quick and easy. Put pins where you want them. I noticed that in several stock photos, the step was tilted to the right or downward This step is not properly fitted to the tire. Make sure the depth setting is snug and the angle is set by adjusting the rubber footed legs against the sidewall of the tire. See my attached images for how this tread step looks on my 35" x 12". Tires with a diameter of 5". Due to the 15" wheels, I was able to adjust the tread height of a rather large tire with a very bulbous sidewall. There is a lot of height to my 4X4 truck. The truth is, I'm not! It was almost impossible to clean the top of the vehicle, lift the hood, and check the oil. I was able to solve the problem with this item! Considering it is a Crew Cab truck, it would be better if it came with some kind of strap to hold it together to keep it from rattling under the back seat. However, it is a great item, well made and will last a lifetime. The handler doesn't have a problem holding me because I weigh 235 pounds.
The interface is user-friendly. I have no problems locking and unlocking my 5th wheel hitch with this product.
I like the concept, but the size is not right. They should say that this is most likely to fit only very large SUVs and trucks. A midsized SUV, not a compact, I have the Hyundai Veracruz AWD with three rows, so neither is it a compact. The tire barely fits between the wheel wheel and the tire on the front and it does not fit at all on the back. Now that I've replaced my shocks, the height of my rude is back to factory specifications. I tried it on my wife's 2017 Santa Fe, but it does not work. A note to this effect should be placed in the description. It might be a good idea to mention that it only works on lifted suvs, pickups, or suburban vehicles.
