Despite what one might think, there are actually two sets of mounting holes, one with four bolts. There are two sets of clearance holes for 1/4 dia., each 2 7/8 by 2 7/8 center to center. A bolt. There are two st (the top two are shown) and one st has clearance holes for 5/16 diameter, measuring 4 1/4 by 10 3/4 centre to centre. A bolt. A perfect step for flat mounting

It has been difficult to find a flat mount step for my enclosed cargo trailer that is nice but sturdy. It is blocked by an enormous steel beam under the door, so there cannot be a fold-away or hide-away step. As far as I can tell, this is the only one that fit well in my space. I was reluctant to purchase it at first because of the cost, but after installing it, I loved.
