Installation and fit of hardware should be easy

I was able to accomplish my purpose with this perfectly. This is an easy to install product. Buying this type of step is my second time doing so. The first ones I bought over 10 years ago are still in use, no problems whatsoever.

During our 8-month stay in the van, the van broke down

I had trouble getting out of the van because the step had broken. The jagged edge did not catch my foot or cause me to fall. My expectation was that this item would last a long time. I will not purchase this item.
