Questions & Answers

How much foam is included in this package?

In short, yes. Foam was included in the package. There had to be some cutting for it to fit the way I wanted it to, and the foam decompressed from being packaged after a few days. The quality is not amazing, but for its price, it is quite good.

The zippers are weak, and it will not fit a 95 Jeep If you wish to ensure fit and quality, make sure you purchase this product in person rather than online
3/5

This was not a good fit for my 1995 Jeep Wrangler, which had bars EXACTLY like the picture displayed. It is not possible to go around the rear end of either of the two side bars which extend above the driver and passenger windows with the roll bar cover, as there are no holes or suitable zipper configuration. As long as the cover in front of the zipper was cut, it fit nicely. I had to duct tape it back together (ghetto) in order to get around the roll bar connection. After waiting too long to return, and having already removed the old bar covers, I just wanted to get things done the way I remembered. It also appears that the zippers are not very sturdy, the zipper has already unzipped once and the beginning of one of the zippers (the metal piece that starts the zipper feed) has already broken It is extremely confusing that the directions call for the windshield to be unbolted and for the nuts to be removed, which is totally unnecessary and seems the instructions were written for a completely different product. The phone number on the instructions is DISCONNECTED when I call Rampage for assistance. I'm really frustrated with the experience, and what i received is a poor product that will easily fall apart during the next few months.

A perfect match in terms of fit and color
5/5

With a Yellow Jacket "family style" roll bar in it, I installed this on my 84 CJ7. I believe this piece matches what I've already purchased and the soft top perfectly. With zippered openings for the seat belt mounts in front and back, this seat cover is easy to install. It does not have any openings for the spreader bars on the front. It is necessary to cut out those holes if there are any. I have a set of spreader bars placed more in the center of my CJ instead of the outer edges since I have a roll bar that is YJ style. Therefore, this was perfect for me because I wouldn't have holes in the cover I would never use. The material is a bit thinner and there are fewer paddings than on However, even the stock one does not have as much padding as it used to.

If you read most of the reviews, you'll get a pretty accurate understanding of what the pros and cons are
4/5

You can get a pretty accurate impression of the cover kit's pros and cons by reading most of the reviews. Let me start by saying that it is a decent product for the price. It's so uncomfortable to sit on that foam padding. I don't know. The padding looks fine and fills out the cover, but knowing that it is supposed to soften the impact of the roll bar on you as you wind up on your melon, There is no difficulty in applying it. I don't think the directions are very helpful at all. Using the folding mechanism does not require you to fold down the windshield. YJs are filled with Torx bolts, so it is probably no problem to have a set of these sockets. It is easy to purchase a Torx set at Harbor Freight for cheap if you do not have one. There are only three bolts that must be removed (2) to remove windshield support bars. In order to fit the windshield support bars to the main roll bar, I just needed to make two small X cuts. There is a separation in the cover or padding where the belt bolt holes line up. Before pulling on the zipper tab, you should make sure that the zippers are fully seated. Otherwise, the zipper will split. There is a charcoal-like darkness to the color. Some people have complained that the cover is not A seat belt re-installation is being made to accommodate this Tractors are used. As a protective measure, I completed the process by installing some tube insulation (see photo).

This Rampage Roll bar cover 768915 can be found here
5/5

I ordered the battery for my Jeep wrangler yj in March 2017. I was given the option of either ordering a Full Cover or just the back bars when ordering these roll bar covers from Amazon. A Full cover option for around $70 suited me best. It was easy to install following instructions and took around two hours. To make the installation process easier, I removed the overhead bars from the driver and passenger side of the windshield before the installation began. Despite not lowering the windshield, I did not lower the hood. In my opinion, the covers fit really well, and I didn't need to drill holes for the seat belt bolts since the zipper joints fall where those were located. For the windshield bars, however, I had to cut X holes, which was an easy task since I had already removed the bars and could use them as Overall, I'm very impressed with the cover art. I took my time and was gentle while zipping everything up and had a great result. This is a cheap cover kit, so I took my time and followed the instructions carefully. This was an easier replacement than the factory covers as they were not as snug fitting but were still snug enough to make the car My overall experience with my purchase has been very positive.

So far, I am pleased with this model Currently installing my new roll bar pad that I just received today
4/5

I found the instructions a little confusing when it comes to installing the pads that go over the roll bars above the doors. If you prefer to remove the bolts that secure these bars to the center roll bar rather than folding the windshield down, you can do so by removing the bolts. There is also a suggestion that you puncture holes into the cover to allow the seat belt bolts, but this is unnecessary since the zippers leave a gap in the area involved, so the bolts fit perfectly without having to be punctured. It is likely that you will need to drill four holes to reattach the center bar to the door roll bars. In addition to that, I needed 1 hole for the soundbar to be reattached. I am satisfied with the installation in general. With the old pads removed, it took an hour and a half to complete, excluding the time it took to remove them. The quality seems acceptable, but only time will say whether it stands the test of time. However, the material seems like it will hold up pretty well, and the zippers seem to be a bit fragile.

The installation process was very easy
5/5

The installation process was very easy. A lot of people complain about the window frame bars, but it's actually an easy fix. Just use something hot to drill holes, and screw the hex bolt in from the outside. Keeping the pad from fraying will be easier with this technique. In addition, the back portion of the pad is too short, according to people. Due to the fact that this product is designed to install seat belts. There is a reason for the pads being short. Good product.

The parts fit my '94 Jeep Wrangler YJ perfectly and are reasonably priced
4/5

Usually I find Rampage products to be low on the quality end, but these roll bar pads are great for the price I paid. The look really good on my '94 Jeep Wrangler YJ and were super easy to install - good job Rampage! The total time, including lowering the windshield, was only about 30 minutes. It's not exactly clear what the instructions are. If you want to remove the front roll bars (overdoors), you have to remove the bolts that attach them to the main roll bar hoop, but you do not have to remove the bolts that attach them to the windshield (I recommend you don't). If you have a Jeep model, make sure you read the directions before starting and take note of what you need to adjust. My only complaint is that the side and rear padding/covers are too short and do not reach the bottoms of the side and rear roll bars, but that is a very minor problem.
