Can this be used on a 2000 VW *br>
There were four pieces in the set I purchased.
Not at all
Having examined a set in my hands, I found that they flex quite well when compared to The UR has only about half the flexibility. The trays are not made with polyurethane, but instead with an indestructible plastic I do not remember the name of.
Selected User Reviews For Rally Armor MF12-BAS-RD Basic Black, Red Mud Flap with Logo (Universal Fitment (no Hardware)), 1 Pack
The product is very nice, and I like that all I had to do was drill holes in them according to the factory holes on my car, and they fit perfectly in a matter of minutes. It looks great on my new hatchback, is inexpensive, and is very effective.
The universal design means it can be fitted to any vehicle. Since I was aware of its absence of holes and hardware, I did not expect to find any. As described, this mud flap is in good condition. The overpriced version of this product works just as well for a specific vehicle. Use a cardboard template to create a template and mark the holes to match the the existing fender well or to create new ones. Use small bits to make smaller holes before using larger bits to make larger holes. Always check where the clip is going to go so the hole doesn't get too big. This will make the clip less secure. Below, I will provide a link to the product I purchased for mounting these mud flaps. Please keep reading*.
I like it a lot. The only thing I wish is that they were bigger for my 2018 Hyundai Kona, so I can fit the bigger letters, plus I like the rally look, and they match the color of my car, so it's a win win! My garage installed them for me so I took it to them.
It was a great achievement by Rally Armor to develop these mud flaps at a price point that was affordable to a wide range of users, whether car enthusiasts or novices. This is what I installed on my 2010 Subaru Forester, and the results are very satisfactory, though I expected the process to be faster. In light of the low price and GREAT value of these flaps, you will not receive any additional hardware, clips, or screws, so you will need to buy at least a couple sets of automotive frames clips that fit your vehicle. In addition, because there is a shortage of templates, you may have to wait a while for a fit that fits your needs. Install all four flaps carefully. You will not have to drill any holes that you will not need in the end or remove the tires from In any case, it is easier to remove the tires and then use a little drop of paint on the screws you'll use to mount the flap on the truck to mark exactly where to drill the holes on the flap before actually cutting it. There are more expensive versions of Rally Armor, but many of the designs don't require pre-production My car has easily put 5,000 miles on it over rocks, dirt, and desert roads without seeing excessive wear or tear on these flaps! I am thrilled with how they turned out and I am looking forward to many more miles on them! I am very pleased with the product.
This is a great flap for the price, since they feel durable for their price. Rally armor has always had a good reputation, and with these basic flaps, they should continue that trend. The install on my '17 Cruze Hatch RS was a little tricky since there weren't a lot of screw mounts, so I had to do some DIY mounting. It was a learning curve for me since I had never worked on a car before. I wasn't helped by the fact that my car was a bit older, so some of the screws had already disintegrated. A cardboard template for the holes served as the guide for me. It took me a few attempts to get the hang of it, but after I did, it went much faster. My hatch looks gorgeous with them and I can't wait to try them out on the road!.
It took me only a few minutes to unscrew the stock mud guards from the car, and then I used a paint marker to trace around the screw holes and press the mud guard against them. My drill hole was able to be seen when I lined it up and helped me to drill it correctly. Each one is held up by only two screws and is in good condition. It seems as if they are brand new after I have dragged them down many steep hills. There are not enough words to describe how wonderful these are!.
A few weeks ago, I saw them appear again, so I decided to give them a shot. Thanks to you, I'm very glad I made that decision. The universal nature of them means they do not come with any hardware. I did not find this to be a problem, but knowing what I was getting myself My wheels were off, so I shut them off and let them air out. After that, I drilled my holes and hoped for the best. Despite my concerns, the results are very good. The size fits decently with minimal trimming, but they stick out extremely far (which is the look I was aiming I think this was an excellent purchase on the whole.
The Nissan D21 truck I owned in 1994 had a spot to mount these on the back. The system back there works fine. However, there were no places to mount them on the front. The 2x4 could be something like that. It may be possible to mount the 4x4 on it.
