Questions & Answers

I can order these from Amazon and they will fit my 2015 Ram 2500. Is it likely they will?

On my Ram 2500 2015, they fit perfectly and are doing a great job. I've had them on for over 5,000 miles and they are working fine. The rock chips I have now could have been avoided had I bought them sooner.

Are there any problems mounting nerf bars or running boards on a truck?

It was very easy to install my factory running boards on my 2016 Ram Big Horn since they are full length. I am very happy with the fit and installation. It is not necessary to drill I am pleased with the

Is this going to fit my new ?

A set of Husky Liner Mud Guards #58176 fits Ram 1500 Classic trucks that do not have factory flares in wheel wells (extra trim around openings).

Are these mud flaps compatible with a 2016 Ram with wheel to wheel sidebars?

The answer is yes, in my opinion. A little more than half an inch of clearance is required beyond the wheel well unless the sidebars extend all the way to the end of the body.

Big Horn trim on the 2018 Ram 1500
5/5

The 2018 Dodge Ram 1500 Big Horn is confirmed to fit. Due to my experience with Husky mats, I decided to spend the extra $18 to stick with this brand, and I am extremely happy with my choice. There is a perception that the "no drill" install is very labor intensive, however, the installation is fairly simple as long as you have good eyesight and hand-eye coordination. No tires have to be removed during the installation. The fronts are Installation was simple using two factory screws in to place, a hole was drilled in the factory plastic wheel well, and the screw was tightened. Use snubby Phillips screws to screw in the piece. In the rear I installed it with two factory screws, without removing the tire OR using the heated penny nail trick. I simply drilled from the reverse side of the wheel well, and it worked perfectly. I will say, that the pain protector film is trash just like the reviews say, so I used window sealant and applied a bead of it around any portions that would come into contact with the This is something I want to do. I wish I had put them on 20,000 miles ago to save my paint. There is no doubt that I would buy from this store again.

I like how well the fit and work and how easy it is to Maintain a healthy lifestyle while minimizing the effects of the road on your All existing holes can be used for the installation
5/5

Rather than using factory screws, I used the ones from my own home. One set for one vehicle, and another set for another.

In models 2012 and newer, you need to remove the black rock guards, which is easy to do if you have a knife handy to pry out the bottom black plastic rivets
4/5

It was necessary for me to pry open a couple of mine. We have had to wait longer than we expected for installation. In models 2012 and newer, you need to remove the black rock guards, which is easy to do if you have a knife handy to pry out the bottom black plastic rivets. Many of mine I had to pry out because the screw would not back out once it had spun. Protective film of the 3M type is a nice feature, but it takes a bit of time to install As soon as you take the rock guards off and install the film, allow it to dry. I had about two hours left in the project by this point. As far as the mud flaps themselves, it only takes a few seconds. I was very pleased with how everything lined up with the factory holes and mounted nicely. They were easy to mount with just two factory screws, and they are very A right angle drill or the removal of the wheels are indispensable if you want to install all four screws supplied in each mud guard. It's a great fit and finish by Husky and we wouldn't expect anything less! The products that they make are of the highest quality at a very reasonable price.

I like the concept of paying for what you get
4/5

It is true. A difficult review to write. I just want to say the one thing that matters is the quality you get for the price you pay. There's a better way to do mud flaps. Despite that, it isn't a huge difference. I found the installation to be very straightforward. The instructions say no drilling, but if you want to use just two screws then no drilling is needed. This is what they suggested, and I did it. With four screws, they are much more sturdy than with only two. The pictures they use for advertising are much better looking than the actual product. The truth is that they are I gave them a 4 out of 5 star rating. do exactly what they say they will do, and they are exactly who they say they are. Nonetheless, if you're looking for great looking mud flaps, you'll have to spend the extra $40 to get mopars. The 2017 RAM 1500 is fitted with these. The mud flaps I had installed on my 2016 RAM 1500 came from Mopar. Installing these is easier than using the other ones. It is true.

I expected something else, but it turned out to be ideal
4/5

My mud flaps are made of rigid, molded plastic and they don't bend like some others I've had in the past. They look great on my truck and are very stylish. As a result, it took me a while to install them. In my case, my Dodge had 'large rock guards' at the base of the wheel wells, which I was supposed to remove according to the instructions. As a result of removing them, we discovered lines where the paint had worn off, and the new mud guards did not cover these It turned out that the plastic protectors were not precut, and even after trimming and trying it, I wasn't able to make any significant changes. I would have preferred if Husky had come up with a new design to overlay the large rock guards rather than just ask us to get rid of However, I understand why they chose not to, and it would have made for a better match. I found this to be a very difficult design to work with. Additionally, the molding along the bottom of these creates a sort of 'funnel' that seems daunting The bottom of the wheel well is recessed, which is done to eliminate a bump. However, it is a great way to get water and ice into the body panels as well. Somehow that didn't seem right to me. I just installed the Husky guards over the existing large stock rock guards and drilled a few new holes as you can see in my photos.

Finally, I drilled a few new holes and just added the Husky It needed to be bent a little at the front, but it fitted like a glove at the back. I added a screw to the inside of the rear and then some black RTV between the screws and I'm pretty happy with the result.

I recommend you read a lot of the reviews, they are all full of helpful tips
4/5

It will be seen that many people refer to the 1/8" drill bit as being required even in those cases where the box says no drilling is necessary. If you want an even more secure mud flap, dig a hole. They are more secure now because of what I did. I used the following tools to complete this task An angle attachment for the drill and a 14" drill to socket attachment for the socket. An 8mm socket*a pry tool*a silicone*6 dormant 700-mm screws. I chose to install 365 attachments (not necessary, but I did) on the front mud flaps, since you are able to move the tires in front of them. It's ok with me if I use silicone around the dormant attachments, I had to remove the rock shield, but the undermount screw is a joke and just spins when I turn it. Those were the last ones I tried. I find the back flaps a little more difficult to sew. In one review, it was stated that the rear of the wheel well should be drilled. This made things easier for me since I chose to do it this way. For the holes left by the rock shield I removed, I used silicone and attachments from the dormant state. It is where I used the angle attachment in the wheel well on the back screws. Since I didn't have to remove the tire as others had suggested, I didn't have to do anything. In general, I am happy with the look, price, and installation of my new siding. The future will reveal how well they will hold up and whether or not they need to be replaced.

You can install a factory step on a 2017 Ram big horn
5/5

Although close, the review does not touch the aftermarket steps, if you already have aftermarket steps this may not be useful to you. I've always had trouble putting the back of the set on, but every set I've had has worked well. To do the install, I took the time to read the instructions first, then started working on each corner individually.
The front wheels turn, so I could get into the wheel wells there, but the back ones would not, so I had to get under the truck to do it. The shoes fit and they are comfortable There was nothing I needed to cut or use a mcgyver to do.
