I had hoped that the plates would be embossed like the ones from the DMV/DPS however, I was severely disappointed to receive I may have a pretty good idea of the authenticity of the item from a few feet away, but closer inspection reveals such a high quality image that it's as if the Seller/Maker used actual State-of-the-Art technology I printed a Plate through a laser printer and it resulted in a graphically 'rough' representation (a 'Pixelated' representation) I have said before It looks great from a distance, so you can tell it will serve your purpose, but just be aware of the details that are left out of the description (since the Seller is so convenient!).

I just wanted to let you know. As opposed to real plates where the letters are bumped out of the plate, this plate did not have the letters engraved. Because there is just print on this one, it feels completely flat to the touch. In the end, it did not matter to me, so I was very satisfied.
Two of my primary concerns were the color and font match I wanted a plate that looked truly authentic. There was no disappointment for me! Almost all the colors match and the font is so similar it is difficult to tell that there are differences at first As well as the plate being well made, the graphics are also clear and attractive. It was a huge surprise to me when I read the description, as I had intended to place it on the front of our Intended for display or decorating a shelf, this size is designed for decorating.
