In the past few years, I have installed Hella Supertone horns on a number of cars. I purchased a set on Amazon for "a great price" that failed after just a few months of use. The horns were hooked up to one of my other cars which has Hella horns that also work fine they just gave a brief squeal after hooking up. As far as I can tell, the product is not genuine.

I do see that Hella offers a 12 month warranty with the broad stroke elimination clause that they must be installed by a professional. My collection of cars is so important to me that I would never allow a "professional" to touch them. Apparently, Hella will not accept my installation application because I am not qualified. A horn.
