Don't buy if the quality of the construction isn't up to par

At first, I liked the fact that it looked exactly like the original and was holding up just fine, so I thought. However, on Saturday, May 29, my wife and I were driving back home on the NJ turnpike when the hood started flopping. Luckily, the middle latch held it down, and we were able to safely pull over under a bridge and run a strap across to get home safely. However, the build quality is definitely not up to safe standards, as the bolts ar.

Adds a Deterrent to Small Thefts

These simple locks will not deter a determined thief, but they will provide some security, similar to what a locking gas cap provides. It was very simple to put together and fit perfectly. In the meantime, I'll save factory latches and hardware as a back up while I wait to see how the lock mechanisms and hardware hold up.

It's extremely simple to set up. Replaces OEM and, in my opinion, is superior. I'd say both sides took me about 10 minutes to complete.

These were professionally installed by a friend of mine, and they only require two people to complete. First and foremost, they are 100% OEM with the exception of the locking key, which is exactly what I was looking for. It's of excellent quality and does the job well. I can attest to the fact that the numbers 1,2 and 3 are correct. The three-star rating is a sham. Today I drove at 100 miles per hour on the highway, and the product is fantastic! They're not going anywhere if they're installed correctly!.

It was the simplest installation I've ever done on any of my Jeep Wranglers. It took me exactly 5 minutes to complete. The hinge appears to be of the same quality as the OEM ones I replaced it with.

This is an absolute must-have for JL owners, especially if they have the LED package. I can now park my jeep wherever I want without fear of being ticketed. If you are not a mechanic, the installation is simple and takes about 30 minutes on both sides. br>The quality is good, and it resembles the OEM hood latches in appearance. Thanks.
