Is the latches' hardware (bolts, nuts, and screws) the same color as the latches?

Yes, the entire hardware package will be black. I hope this has been of assistance.

Excellent value for money
5/5

The fit is perfect. They looked great and were incredibly simple to swap out. The latches appear to be sufficiently strong. br>br>I would advise anyone purchasing these to replace the included nuts with nylon "locking" nuts or add a lock washer for added security. Nylon nuts were a type of nut that was made of a synthetic material. Lock washers were 20 cents apiece at the hardware store. 09 per. Need 8.

For 1942, there is a Black Hood Catch Kit
5/5

Jeep Wrangler YJ, 1995. It's an excellent catch. It's well worth the money, and it also appears to be well-made. It's a good match. If it is replaced in a timely manner, it can be a simple installation. If the head isn't completely rusted, you might need to drill it out or use a small cut-out tool. To remove the head, use a grinder. This was the cut-out I used. It was simpler and quicker to use the off method. Changing the Wrangler hood catch is a simple process.

WAY BETTER THAN THE ROUGH RIDGE VERSION
5/5

The RAMPAGE version of these Catches is far and away the best of the bunch. At our shop, we use 10-year-old Jeeps to restore them. Each year, I make 20 sets of these. The spring is much better, the rust proofing is much better, and the hardware is of higher quality.

I was blown away by how simple it was to install these on my 1959 CJ 5. They're well-made and a great deal.

Damaged
3/5

It could use some TLC (spray paint and sanding, for example). Arrived on time, but the main piece (the hook itself) was severely scratched and the paint was chipped, defeating the purpose of purchasing new ones. Because the paint on my origami ones has chipped and rusted, I'm just going to spray paint them and sand them down. If you want something new and undamaged, don't buy it.

Purchase it now for a good price
5/5

Really simple to set up; the price was a little high for what I was looking for, but it's still great; it works and looks exactly like the originals.
