These come with rubber adapters that fit under them, there is a set for the JK and that for the JL and JT. It should be noted that the latches are larger than the ones already on the JT
Yes, they should. They come with rubber adapters that go under the latches on the hood itself, they are a different set for each model, one for JK and one for JL. Each one is marked so you can find out which one it is. Nonetheless, they are a very efficient latch, I have not had an issue with hood slippage since I installed them, and they are also very solid. It is my hope that this

On my 2018 JLU, they fit as well, so they should fit on

Please take note Any product is tricky to replace the bottom section of the hood latch. There isn't a lot of room to move around You have a U-shaped body With a socket, you can save yourself some scrapes, but expect some knuckles to be scraped. To align the upper and lower sections of each latch, you'll need to be patient and try several times. You can tighten everything after you test close the latch, so don't tighten everything down before you try. *BR* POSITIVES VARIATIONS IN APPEARANCE & DETAILS The materials. I am very impressed with the latches as they appear very well executed I am initially of the opinion that the materials do not significantly differ from the products on branded sites that are much more expensive. I look forward to seeing what happens as time goes along. THE NEGATIVES ARE The design. Since the kit did not include washers for the nuts in the interior, I made my own (see pic 1) OEM spin nuts were used. Further, the metal ends of the closed latches touched the hood of my 2016 JK 2 door, leading to the possibility of paint damage (see picture There are a few things we can do to resolve this problem. In my opinion) In order to add clearance, OEM plastic clips were used underneath the rubber pad and bracket. includes two sets of pads, four labeled JK and four Depending on which bracket I placed on top of which hood, I used both the OEM plastic clip mentioned above and the thicker JL pad (even though I have a JK), and I now have adequate clearance (photo 4) between my brackets and hood.
The hinges are really nice on these, now that I've taken off my stock ones I know why so many people swap them! The construction is solid and well done. look very nice on my JL, and I found the installation to be easy. In their box, they were well-packaged and included small hex wrenches for installation. I did, however, need a socket and an open-end wrench for the installation The install takes less than 30 minutes if using the double-ended wrench (two sizes for the nuts). The spacers for a JL and JK are clearly labeled so I didn't have to guess the fit first. The video was decent, but it moved quickly so if you need help you might have to pause, but it is really easy to install without instructions.
off by saying that I really like these latches. They are a lot nicer looking than the stock latches and are The service could be improved in a few areas, which is why I gave them three They fit my 2010 Wrangler perfectly, and if you use the JK spacer alone, the tires will hit the hood and remove the paint over time. It looks decent now, and now they only hit if I push them. I used the JL spacer and trimmed the edges of the JK spacer to help it look decent. I'm not sure why it became an issue in the first place, but it can be rectified. Second of all, the hardware included is very poor, as described above. You should pay attention to the nutlocks, since the upper ones will scrape your paint since there is no washer. In this case, however, because the threading is the same as stock, it's already possible to resolve this issue by using the stock ones. It would have been helpful if I realized this when I put them on the first time. Once the stock washer nuts were back on, I had to apply some paint again. As of now, the bolts appear to be quite strong. Generally speaking, the latches are great. However, these issues are important to note if you plan on buying If you wish to install the lower latch, you'll need to remove the grille. It has six clips on top of it which pop off, so getting to the nut is.
It has been previously noted that the bolts at the bottom are the most challenging part of installation. In my experience, deep sockets (I think 1/2") feed pretty easily on ratchets – I found it to be a fairly straightforward process It was not possible for the ratchet to pass through the top slot. However, once I applied pressure from under the ratchet, the top gap at the top was large enough to allow me to ratchet off the old nut and then use the wratchet and deep socket to position the nut. I spent about ten minutes on it. They are very solid and lock well. They look fantastic, too.
The installation of the software is straightforward. This product seems well built. My only complaint is There is no instruction on how to install it The following 2 complaints have been received My only concern is that the nuts included in the hood attachment are not the size I would If that's the case, you might want to It's still a work in progress to get the hood alignment perfect. I'll let you know if I'll update this post once they've weathered This is my first experience with the finish, so I'm curious to see how it Included are pre- and post-earthquakes Gaskets are molded for both JK and JL, so both may be used. What I'm interested in finding out is how durable the rubber tab/stopper at the clip is over time and use.
I have had it for more than a month I installed the software easily, I just had to think about it a bit. The way the hood reached all the way down to the fender did not appeal to me. It was adjusted and I ended up putting some of those clear rubber stops in. For cabinet doors (I bought at Lowe's), I had a different issue, the latch hits the hood at the top. My paint is still coming down to the bottom of the page. I've adjusted a lot. This is positive I have been able to lock down the hood tightly and no longer get.
Other than that, they perform just as well as more expensive latches and are pretty simple to install. My personal experience has been that I had to combine the JK and JL pads to have enough clearance to ensure that they do not It's all in all a great product and well worth the money!.
I decided to buy these to add a nice look and make the hood hold This is a solid product that does a good job of holding on to the hood A bonus is that they look really good, and they are super cheap!.
