The hood looks like it's about to pop off when there is a semi-rig going the other way. The insulation is easy! So, I will begin there! As soon as I took off my grill, I was able to see the bottom portion of the latches. My only issue, I have a JKU, is on top of the list. To do this, I used the JK spacers that were included with the kit. in total, with a JK It is obvious that the latch is damaging the paint as I drive down the road so I switched to the thicker JL spacers, no more damage to the paint! It looks like I now have a space between the latch and Definitely recommend these hoods, the solid construction is great down the road and they look great! I have already had a few other Jeepers order them as soon as they saw.

This is a good quality product that has eliminated what was causing the hood to flutter, caused by The installation went smoothly and took only around 45 minutes at most, with the main challenge being removing the original base and installing the bottom piece on the fender (a tight fit to get a ratchet in and finding the nut proved to be difficult). One reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 is as soon as I adjusted it, one side of the latch was able to fit right against the hood while the other side was out of position. We will monitor the condition of the hood. So far, there has not been any damage to the paint so far.

These hinges have been on for a couple months, but haven't seen the winter yet, so they have rusty hinge sleeves. My guess is that it is defective. I doubt the aluminum is the cause. It has been told that they now have stainless hinges. It will be interesting to see what the replacement parts look like, but so far they are very excited about it! As soon as winter arrives, I will update.

Installed less than two months ago and it has rusted. This was purchased early January, installed late January, and the bolts are already rusted through. There is no way I would recommend these.

I found the installation to be extremely difficult. It is also the case that the screws already vibrate out of the latches after the first walk. It was not a good experience.
