I didn't feel like paying $12 was worth it

A typical Dorman quality is not present. My two computers have failed within six months after I bought them in the last year. Over time, the rubber crumbles and begins to crack in a hundred places. The fact that there is no other aftermarket company that makes medium duty trucks means I'm going to keep another on hand. It's weird because the one I had on my 1994 International truck didn't need to be replaced.

If the protrusion on the back of the strap is not ground down, it will cause the strap to loosen

It was designed to be used on the vehicle I used it on. I had to modify the rubber strap since it did not fit as it should. After some time, I managed to make it work. The fit wasn't factory but it was good enough.

This is a perfect It was a good thing I ordered two kits because one kit did not contain the latching mechanism to attach to the rubber band. I ended up using one of the old latches and polishing it lightly to give it a shiny finish. They work well and are beautifully designed, but there are a number of missing components. I would have given this five stars.

They are not in the same pattern as original bolts

This is nice, however it has less room than a stock one. It did not match the bolt pattern, so I had to return it! There must be holes drilled through it because it is more similar to a universal fit.

They're hard to get in the flip part of the latch and when you get them all on, they don't latch. Pop your tabs off every now and then. It was the International dealer I went to that provided the quality ones. There is no point in spending your time on.
