I'm not sure how I feel about these scoops. They were never received by me. I, on the other hand, have a small center scoop. I was able to heat mold it to fit the contours of my hood and engrave my logo on it. I hope this has been of assistance to you.

Hello, I'm not sure if the Lund hoodscoop will work on a Ford F150. My car was a 92 Mitsubishi Mightymax that I purchased. It's a good match for Mightymax. I went with the Lund hoodscoop that fits everyone. I decided to use sheet metal screws to hold it in place, but I'm not sure yet if I'll rivet it. This scoop is packaged in such a way that it comes with tape. I doubt it would withstand the test of time. Larry
I came across some contradictory information as well. However, the model 80002, which is designed for hoods like the Ford F150, will fit on a Dodge Magnum. I recommend going to your local auto parts store and purchasing a set of scoops to place on your hood. If they fit, go ahead and buy them. You're unlikely to find a true fit based on an online 'fitment' chart. There does not appear to be a true size chart that is consistent across all websites.

After painting them to match my white chocolate pearl F150, I followed the directions and mounted the scoops on the hood. I made sure there was no dirt or wax in the area. The adhesive tape that came with it was a complete waste of money. Scoops wouldn't stay flat against the hood and would keep popping up. I tried another person's suggestion of putting a 10 pound weight on top of each one and letting it sit for 24 hours, but it didn't help. I went to AutoZone and purchased HD 3M automotive tape to replace the old one. Exactly the same issue. The scoops warp and pull away from the adhesive as a result of engine heat and/or sun heat, making them look bad. I'm not going to buy anything else. It's not possible to return them for a refund now that they've been professionally painted to match my truck. Make a financial plan. Do not make a purchase.
My 2008 Ford Super Duty looks great with the hook scoops. To match the truck, I gave them a black paint job. It appears to be fantastic. I was able to find the scoops that would best fit my hood's shape. My only criticism is that the tape should have been wider and more sticky, as I frequently have to press down on the sides of the scoops to keep them from lifting off as I drive down the road. So far, everything seems to be going swimmingly.
I went ahead and did it. They're riveted in four places to keep them flat. br>I also cut out the scoop opening and epoxied the provided vented insert in place. br>Cut two large holes in the hood, one on each side of the scoops. It works and it looks fantastic! Big Block also operates at a lower temperature.
Note: Only a cheap stock hood would be subjected to this treatment.
They are a favorite of hubby's. Work / appear as they shouldbr>Look goodbr>.
3 m tape didn't work out well, so it wasn't a good fix.
" I like them, and when the weather warms up, I'll be able to wear them! I had them painted by a friend, and they turned out fantastically! The only issue I had was that when Lund or Amazon shipped the hood scoops, they did not include the decals (2 of them) that go on the hood scoops that say "LUND" OTHER THAN THAT, THE SPOONS ARE PERFECT!.
I used fine sandpaper to smooth out the holes in the front, and it turned out beautifully. They appear to be factory-supplied for the 1997-98 model year. When the hoods were painted to match in 2003, they looked like this. On an otherwise featureless hood, it added a lot to the car's appearance. Oh, and the supercharger runs cooler, so it's as much a safety issue as it is a performance issue. When the car isn't moving, it's just another vent for a hot engine; when it is, the scoops become "quasi-active. " By forcing the entire supercharger housing to cool, "intercoolers" are created. Power difference, especially when it's cold outside!.
