Yes, it should be aesthetically pleasing.
I had problems with the provided strip as well. I ended up just using a piece of double-sided tape from another roll. Rubbing alcohol should be used to clean the mating area.
No, it's only for people who were born in 2018 or later. The grill has a unique shape and size.

**Update** It hasn't been a year, but it is now after the winter. ABORT! ABORT! ABORT! br>It has rusted and is now a shambles. br>br>As previously stated, clear coat it before installing and you should be fine. However, should you really need to work on something you've just purchased? That's up to you to decide. As a result, I'm not going to change my rating, but be aware that it WILL RUST and that alcohol will remove the finish. I have no complaints because it was a $100 grille with a cool look. What you see in the photos is exactly what I got. This is an unfinished grille that has been "painted. " I made the mistake of "prepping" the grille for the weather stripping (as you do with any surface when applying an adhesive backed object to another). When I rubbed the alcohol wipe on the grille, paint came off with it, and the little bit that touched the front of the grille left streaks, so I'll have to take it off and paint it again, as well as apply a clear coat. Please don't make the same mistake I did. If you don't want to use alcohol to prepare the weather stripping, either finish it with clearcoat or don't use it at all. br>br>Shipping was a shambles, but that wasn't a problem caused by xprites. UPS had delivered the package. As a result, I'm not going to criticize them or the product for it. br>br>I just wish it had been more clearly documented that the surface should not be prepped with alcohol before applying double sided tape. I mean, this could be one of those "be careful with hot coffee" moments, but I suppose a small hint that it was going to take paint would have been nice. It looks fantastic, and it took less than 5 minutes to install. OH! almost forgot about it. The lens that controls the turn signal. They fit fine, but there was some flashing on the grille that prevented them from sitting flush, and it took a little more muscle to get the tabs to click in properly. The only physical flaw I have is that the weatherstripping was a little too long, but that was easily fixed with scissors. Make sure you get the metal clips on just right when you're putting them on because they're only supposed to go on once and repositioning them can be difficult. However, everything has gone well so far, with the exception of a couple of minor issues. solid 4. There are six products in total.
Anyone who owns a Jeep knows that you have to accessorize your vehicle on a weekly basis, and this one looks cool and mean, especially with the halo eye headlights. It draws a lot of attention. Installing it was a breeze. Simply use the included bolts to secure it to the original grill's bottom. To gain access, remove the four-screw plastic 'JEEP' branded cover thing. Then, on top of the radiator shroud, install a couple of included bolts. or, because I couldn't grapple with that area due to my carpal tunnel, I just used a couple of body 'push on' type fasteners in those holes on top. It's firmly fastened and appears to be in excellent condition. You may also want to use flat black rattle can spray paint on your original grill area, as I did, so that your original color does not show through behind this new grill. If you change your mind later, you can easily remove the paint. I'm thinking about taking it off and doing some paint highlighting like some others I've seen- You can see what I'm talking about if you Google 'Wrangler gladiator grill paint. ' This is well-made and flawless, as well as simple to apply and appealing to the eye.
It was fairly simple to put together, but the bolts on the top are a little challenging. I wrapped the end of my finger in duct tape and pressed the nut against it, allowing me to reach the hole with one finger and screw the bolt in. However, if yours only has back screws under the grill, the frame cover behind the bumper will not go back on. Only the ones that attach to the forward screws near where the bumper mounts, according to videos, seem to fit. br>br>Now, in terms of overheating issues, which I've seen some people mention, I can say that I don't have any at the moment. However, because it is winter and the weather is getting colder, the cold may be assisting the engine in maintaining its temperature. I was driving down the highway at 50 mph and it was about 48-degrees outside. It's 53 degrees outside, so the cold might be helping, or the few people who are having problems could have a problem with their Jeep. br>br>Overall, I think it's a fantastic product that looks fantastic. It takes a little while to get used to, but if you're creative, it won't take long.
I placed my order on Thursday, May 24th, and it is now Wednesday, May 30th. I needed a good upgrade from my factory grill that wouldn't cost a fortune. My expectations for this grill have been met. The only flaw is that it lacks a Jeep badge, but that isn't a big deal for me because I'll be putting an American flag on it anyway. Instead of a badge, a themed Jeep sticker was used. My new signal lights are compatible with the grill.
Pros:
1. br>2. The cost is reasonable. The material and hardware are both of excellent quality.
3. It includes all of the necessary hardware for installation.
4. Shipping was completed on time.
5. Installation is a breeze.
Con: br>There's no Jeep logo, but that's not a deal breaker.
If you have a hood lock, this will not work. Headlight grills are not compatible. If that were the case, I'd give them five stars. So, if you don't do much off-the-beaten-path, it's ideal. Overhanging trees on the road I don't have that luxury. However, my headlight grills have been damaged, so I'm hoping that my headlight glass is more durable than it appears, because this front end fits and looks fantastic!
