A tip for using 3M tape: heat it up with a hair dryer until it becomes super tacky. Also, I put the end pieces in first because the clips are a tight fit due to the radiator hosing, but if you do the end ones first, you can get your hand in the opening next to it to ensure the clip goes all the way in.

We've only had them in for two days, but based on the price, ease of installation, and subtle but pleasing change in the appearance of the grill, we think they're a great buy. There were no issues with the fit on the 2014 Sahara Unlimited. As others have pointed out, make sure you know which way is "up" and which way is "down" when installing - The larger "lip" on the bottom fits over the material at the bottom of the grill slot. I took the adhesive strips off and laid the pieces out to get the glue tacky before clipping them in because we had a rare day of sunshine in Syracuse. You don't have to remove the body clips and drop the grill to install it, but it did make things easier, especially on the last few. You'll want to get your fingers behind the grill to make sure the clips are in place before applying pressure to the sides with adhesive strips for a few seconds to secure them. They're extremely safe once inside, and they're extremely attractive without being overbearing. In general, this is a low-cost, high-impact upgrade.

This is a fantastic addition to my 2016 Jeep Rubicon Hard Rock's factory grill. It's simple to put together; just make sure the areas where the stick-ons are located are clean. Everything is going swimmingly. There's a top and a bottom, so make sure you're sticking it on correctly by test fitting it before peeling off the backing and sticking it on for real. I'm sure these are far superior to the others that don't have clips to keep them in place. I wouldn't trust those made solely of adhesive, which is why I paid a little extra for this set. The quality is excellent, and the appearance is stunning. I recommend this to anyone who wants this look on their Jeep grill because the shipping was quick and there were no issues. br>br>* I paid for this product and was not compensated in any way for writing this review. I just finished installing mine on my 2010 Jeep JK Rub. It took about 15 seconds for each of them. I didn't have to remove my grille to install it; just make sure the ends go on first, then the middle. The clips are difficult to snap in because of a few spots on the ends. It's simple if you can reach in and clip with your hand. I didn't mind that the adhesive wasn't tacky because it was around 98 degrees here today. Before you install them, double-check that they're in the right places; they'll stay put. I like how it adds a subtle touch to my Jeep. I'll also update my review once I've driven about a hundred miles with these on. I'd buy it again in a heartbeat.

*Revision* - They didn't budge at all when I took them through the car wash today (and that's without any of the adhesion). There's nothing sloppy about it. I am overjoyed! br>br>I bought my 2011 JKU used, and the only cosmetic flaw I noticed was: Paint chips are visible through the grille openings on the front of the radiator. This appeared to be a quick and inexpensive option, but I was wary of the reviews that mentioned overheating. I work in the performance diesel industry, and after talking to one of the guys about it, he said it shouldn't be an issue because the covers allow for airflow. I can't comment on this because I haven't installed them yet, but it took me less than 5 minutes to do so, including unwrapping them. They appear to be fantastic. I didn't even use the tape because they fit so well. Just remember to be gentle. The little clips appear to have been snapped off by a number of people, but I had no such issues.

These inserts looked fantastic, and I was really happy with how powerful they made my Jeep look. Unfortunately, they cut off airflow to the radiator, causing my Jeep to overheat. I took out the inserts and, as if by magic, I was back to normal coolant temperatures.

They look fantastic on the Jeep of my wife. br>It was a pain to install. Pay close attention when installing them because there is no right or wrong way to do it; you can do it however you want, but one end is slightly different from the other (as I discovered the hard way). If you try to remove them after they've been snapped in, you'll break the plastic clips. TIP——- br> Place one hand behind the grill of your Jeep while applying pressure to the other end of the installation. Getting all of the clips to snap behind the grill was a challenge.
