It was a perfect fit for my 2021 SR5 and should be the same for yours.
Yes, the 2022 4runner SR5 is compatible with it as well.
The black overlay kit for the 2020 and 2021 Toyota 4Runners does not include anything to cover the two chrome grill trim pieces, and it does not replace an OEM part. When I purchased the OEM overlays for my 2021, I discovered this. These are well-made and fit my 4Runner perfectly.
Yes, they should be able to fit together. As long as it isn't a TOYOTA-branded grill.

The product is exactly as described, with nice plastic overlays to cover the silly chrome strip on the front of the Toyota 4Runner (mine is a 2021 venture edition). The only reason I docked a star is because the adhesive strips used were not uniform in size; one side was covered end to end and almost had too much, requiring trimming, while the other side had insufficient coverage. Fortunately, I had some extra at home, so I added a little more and the parts fit perfectly.
I'm blown away by the quality of this work - It appears to be well-made and sturdy. It was designed to match the sheen/color of the OEM blackout emblem kit, which completes the blacking out of all chrome trim where Toyota leaves off on the newer 4Runners. br>br>The adhesion is the only flaw I have. It will take time to see if it holds up, but you can tell that the double-paned windows were installed properly. The use of double-sided tape was more of an afterthought than a methodical approach. On one side, there was a continuous strip of double-sided tape, while on the other, there was a single-sided tape strip. end-to-end sizing tape The other piece, on the other hand, had two distinct strips, each with a 1. There was a 5" gap in the middle where no double-sided tape was present. Perhaps a line worker reached the end of a roll of tape and, rather than discarding the too short portion, decided to use the too small remainder, forcing them to cut a new strip from the next roll of tape, but failing to ensure careful alignment/matching up of the ends of the two strips of tape. br>br>Once again, I'm hoping that this won't cause any issues or cause the adhesion to deteriorate over time. br>br>All-in-all, I'm optimistic. All in all, this is exactly what I was looking for, and I am pleased with the product's quality, appearance, and fit.
Someone forgot the two chrome strips on the top of the grille after purchasing a blacked-out Venture Model. The matte color is a perfect match for the Toyota logo; simply clean and install. This is the equipment that should have been included with the truck. You could remove the chrome strips and paint them, but this was a one-minute installation that was extremely simple. br>photosbymeta is a collection of photographs created by Meta.
I was skeptical of the tape on the backs of the decals, as were some others on this forum. I decided to leave it as is (see photo; it's just a little off center and doesn't appear to adhere well at first), but it hasn't flown away after about 5,000 miles! I thoroughly cleaned the car before applying the OEM decals, which I scrubbed with a microfiber cloth and isopropyl alcohol. In the Colorado winter, it holds up well. It looks fantastic and is the ideal replacement for your chrome delete—don't be like those obnoxious 4Runner owners who leave the 2020-model year on the shelf. There are 2022 bars that are currently unoccupied. If these are damaged in any way, I will buy them again.
I got the matte black for my 2021 TRD Off Road, and it looks great and goes well with the black emblem overlays if you already have them. If you're going to use chrome, it makes a big difference. removing the entire truck and replacing it with an all-electric vehicle around a matte black finish The edges aren't as cleanly cut as they could be, but that's not a big deal because it'll go into the 4Runner's grill. It doesn't quite fit snugly over the chrome part, but with careful placement, it looks good for the price. I'd buy it again if I didn't have to pay a fortune for it. We'll see how well the adhesion holds up over time and if it starts to fade. TBD.
It's incredibly simple to set up. The adhesive is quite good. In the long run, we'll see how well it works for me. It's a good price, and it's definitely an upgrade in terms of aesthetics; black is always a good choice. br>br>***Included in the package was a pre-written document. Pad for applying adhesive. They should have included two pads, in my opinion. The pads are small and only hold a small amount of pre-applied adhesive. the setting up I would have given it five stars if two pads had been included, as I believe the pre-installed pads are inadequate. The adhesion was greatly aided by the use of installation pads.
I proceeded to put the two pieces that were sent into place. Please read on to learn why I prefer to buy quality inlays from a dealership. The back of the inlays were not centered with the double-sided tape. There was no easy way to get rid of the red strip from the 2-inch by 2-inch by 2-inch by 2-inch by 2-inch by 2-inch by 2-inch by tape that is double-sided You can also see that one of the inlays was not completely taped and two pieces were used instead. They must have reached the end of a roll, I suppose. Because of the difficulty in removing the red strip, I gave installation a three-star rating. I have 1- I gave it a star because I'm not sure if it'll stick around.
I gave it a five-star rating because the customer service was outstanding, and they quickly rectified a simple error in which the order was mislabeled. In terms of the product itself, it was a perfect fit and installation was a breeze. It has the appearance of being original.
