Questions & Answers

Is it compatible with the F-150 of 2013? Is there a 150 XLT Ecoboost?

For my 2012 XLT Super Crew F-150, I bought one. According to my understanding, the body styles for the 2010 through 2013 Ecoboosts are the same, so this bumper grille should fit. To be sure, check the websites of some manufacturers; if they use the same part bumper grilles for 2011, 2012, and 2013, it should fit. Mine is fantastic; it's made of heavy gauge steel, looks great, and will keep the inner cooler safe from stone damage.

Is this compatible with a 2007 Ford F150 Lariat 4x4 Supercab?

On my 2011 F-150, I installed it. 150, It worked out really well, and it was a breeze to apply. , I'm very pleased with it. Although it appears to be in good condition, I believe it is only suitable for the years 2009 to 2014.

Is this compatible with a 2013 Ford FX4 Ecoboost?

I have a 2013 FX4 ecoboost, and this fit perfectly; the truck already has mounting brackets, but they forgot to install a grill: 0 Remove the hood and inspect the screw holes below. This grill is a perfect match for my FX4 that has been completely destroyed (black on black).

Is this compatible with the Ford F150 Ecoboost 2016 model?

I'm not sure, but it worked out perfectly for my 2012 calendar.

With a little tinkering, it works perfectly on a 2013 Ford F150
5/5

This grill is ideal for covering the gap in the front bumper of Ford F150 pickup trucks. My 2013 F150 was brand new off the lot, but there was a hole in it that made it appear as if something was missing. This grill is made entirely of metal. br>br> The ribs are chrome in the front and black in the back, providing excellent corrosion resistance. It is far superior in quality to the F150's standard plastic hood grill. br>br>I know it will fully protect my radiators from damage as rocks and debris fly towards the truck while on the road because of its durability. Instructions: br>br> br>The printed instructions that come with it are a disaster. It is, however, not difficult to mount it. br>br>Assembly: br>br>Assembly: br>assembly br>On the bottom, there are two tabs that fit into the bumper's existing slots. It also has two top tabs with holes that correspond to the bumper's mounting tabs. This grill installs without the need for drilling holes in your bumper. It includes mounting hardware as well. br>br> I didn't care for their hardware, so I replaced it with washers, bolts, and a lock. My garage was full of nuts. This seemed safer to me than using their system. I showed you how I did it in a picture. To get the right size bolts in this grill, I had to drill larger holes. The mounting tab holes on the truck bumper, on the other hand, are quite large and did not require drilling. br>br>From the backside of your bumper, you must secure this grill. If your bumper has a fender mounted under it, getting to this area is difficult. With the hood open, I entered from the top. Another reason I used my own hardware was that it was easier to bolt it on with wrenches rather than trying to hold a screwdriver in my hand. br>br>I am extremely happy with this product because of its high quality construction and attractive appearance. I posted a photo of it mounted on my truck, but Amazon eventually took down all customer photos from all products.

For the 2009 F-150, this is a great look and fit
4/5

Use your own fasteners if you're using 150 SXT. Perfect match for my 2009 F-150. 150 SXT. However, the instructions were inadequate, and the hardware, as several other users have pointed out, is subpar. It appeared to be the wrong size when I first lined it up, but the installation direction is crucial (I was attempting to install from the inside rather than the outside), and I had to fiddle with it for a few minutes to figure it out. Even taking into account that time, as well as the time it took to locate a few black push-up braces, Instead of the stuff that came with it, I used pins from my hardware drawer for mounting, which took about 5 minutes in total. Here's how to do it:
- br>Remove the hoodbr>- If your car has a factory plate holder (mine didn't), remove it. br>- Slide the grill backwards through the front opening, bottom edge first, until the tabs on the bottom go into the bumper slotsbr>- After the slots are fully engaged, push firmly but gently backward on the upper edge until the "L" brackets are lined up beneath the upper holesbr>- Use your preferred fasteners, such as strong black push pins, which I used from the top-down. perfect fit into the new grill mounting tabs.

Great product, and if you use cable ties, it's incredibly simple to put together
5/5

There's not much more I can say about the quality and finish than what others have said - It's great, especially for the price; we have a black F150, and it really changes the look of the truck from the front. br>As for how to put it together - I can attest to the fact that the cable ties/zip ties hack is extremely effective - Thank you all so much for bringing it up! Simply remove the cover and inspect beneath the hood - It's obvious where the cable ties should go, and going in from the top and feeding each cable tie through the appropriate holes in the aluminum and truck frame behind the grille makes fitting the cover SO quick and easy. Tighten each one just enough to prevent it from rattling or moving - Don't take it too far - and that's all there is to it. If you want to, you can trim the long ends with a knife or scissors (leave an inch or two), but no one will see them. We keep a few spares in the console box 'just in case,' but there hasn't been any sign of weakness or failure in months.

BUT, this is a fantastic grill
4/5

This grill performs admirably. I'll say it again: the grill fits perfectly and is of excellent quality. What isn't understandable is the dreadful mounting hardware. Two flimsy spring clips are included, as well as metal and wood screws. I took pictures of these and uploaded them to the product page's "user images" section: is the most ineffective mounting hardware. After only one round trip (about 2 miles) to my office, these came loose. I substituted 6 for them. Six lock washers and 32 x 1/2 in Stainless Steel Round Head Machine Screws/Nuts I would advise the seller to spend the additional $0. 24 and comes with the necessary mounting hardware to match the grill's high quality. I docked one star because of it. br>This is a product that I would recommend.
