Questions & Answers

The rear fenders will fit a 2003 Dodge Ram with dual rear wheels, right?

You may be able to bend them unless you bend them inward

In how many ways will the added wheel protection be used?

The number I have is 35 x 12. In this case, the 5 mudders have a good half inch of coverage past the tires with the 2in wheel spacers. I'd like to suggest You need to extend the stock wheel wells by five inches. These work great for me because I also needed to protect myself from debris kicked up by my tires

Does it fit the Dodge Ram 1500 Bighorn 2008?

Although, I am not sure if they will fit my 2005, they fit perfectly for my 2007

What is the fitment of 2005 2500 SLT short beds?

Your 2005 2500 should be able to fit based on the description.

I would recommend these flares if you're looking for flares at a decent price
4/5

They are definitely not perfect, but for a third of the price of bushwackers, they are unbeatable. Those are the tires I put on my 2004 Ram But here are a couple of things I learned when I installed them

First of all, the instructions are vague and short, and you don't Moreover, they provided me with extra bolts, screws, and around 5 feet of extra rubber seal, which was helpful in case I messed up or lost The second problem is that none of the flares fit well without significant Even if I had done something wrong, those weren't going to seal well with the fenders the way they are. Among the easiest ways to install them, I found the following to work best Normally, you would remove the factory screws that hold the plastic wheel well to the car and then install the flare (a rubber seal is not required at this point). You will need to mark with a pencil the spots that need to be trimmed, usually 2 or 3 spots for me. You can then use a dremel to grind down the plastic. If you like the way it fits, then put a rubber cover on and bolt it onto the truck. It works really well and is quick and precise. Last but not least, don't mess with those little clips or the plastic stuff they have inside. There are just six to eight self tapping screws to purchase in addition to the stock There were also washers that would have been nice to have, but they don't appear. In summary, if two people do a good, solid job on my project with two people it takes around three hours, but much of that time is spent putting all the little bolts in around the corners. You should also use fishing line to remove the hemi emblem and an eraser wheel to remove any I put it off for about a day and a half.

It says it won't fit but it does
5/5

Great quality flares at a great price. Amazon claims it won't fit my 2003 Dodge Ram 2500 SLT, but it does. I like how they look and they are easy to One of the most challenging parts of the job was removing the HEMI badge and the old residue it left behind. The fact that I took the chance on these, instead of the Bushwackers, was very rewarding.

The flares are of high quality, but the mounting hardware is a bit lacking
4/5

On my 2003 Dodge Ram 1500 I put these wheels. Those look great, seem really sturdy, and are in good condition. There is no way to know until time passes. Plan on spending most of a day doing this job, so don't think you can get it done in two hours. Easy to follow instructions as long as you take your time. The provided hardware works just fine on the front fenders. The clips are super tight but a plastic wedge (I used plastic "trim" tools) will allow you to lift them just enough to get the flare on. There are clips provided for the front ones, but not the back ones. When I tried and pushed the flare into the clip, both of the support pieces broke in a line. The fender is tack welded together with the bed, and I broke two in a row when I pushed it into the clip. A trip to Ace Hardware resulted in the purchase of J clips that had screw holes on the one side, stainless bolts and washers, and the drilling of mounting holes. It may be more work, but they won't fail. Likewise, I did not use those stupid plastic clips that push into the body. The nuts and bolts I used are shown in the picture. As far as the truck holes go, the flares would line up and we did not need to modify them. It is also recommended that you lay them in the sun for them to fit snugly. It was also my intention to do that. The gaps had to be kept to a minimum. You can just put them in the bags and they will work. My hope is that someone will benefit from this.

Good to see you
3/5

It is cheaply made and there are no clear instructions. To cover the rust on the back quarter panels of my 2004 Dodge Ram 1500 slt, I bought these. It was easy for them to put it on. It is not clear what to do at all. Almost all of the goods are made overseas and directions are in another language. A customer service representative directs me to a video on YouTube when I call the number found on the package. I was unable to get any assistance from that. The idea of drilling into my truck and installing screws and clamps on it wasn't appealing to me as I am very mechanically inclined. As soon as I finished buying the sheet metal screws and washers at the hardware store, I drilled them into my truck and I put it through the plastic since all Tiger shipped were these small clips and crappy-looking screws that weren't strong enough to hold it firmly One car wash spray has left me with some "gaps" in my back covers that are clearly visible when I stop on the side of the road. The opening is large enough that I can reach my fingers through it. I paid a hundred dollars, but what was that for? The price for these was much lower than the competition when they became available. You get what you pay for, however. I'll at least be able to cover the rust until further notice. These wouldn't be something I'd recommend if you had a nicer truck and wanted something more quality.

I absolutely love my new fender flare, it fits like a glove! The delivery was good and the installation was easy
5/5

a few extra nuts, bolts, and gaskets in the package to give me a little wiggle room. The show began at 830 p. m. It was completed by 11am, including the removal of HEMI badges on the front fenders, by 30am on a Saturday. We are planning to use light fluid to remove the adhesive residue from a badge that has been on the vehicle for years if it is older. The average person probably buys these to cover up rusty fenders like I did. I had full coverage over the rust area, so I was very pleased with the result. The back fenders must be tapped for a snug fit of the flares so warm up your drill battery and work on the front first since there is no drilling there. The front fenders are bolt-on only with clips as additional support and this works well. Make sure you take your time when working with the gasket. Start with a small piece of tape, then wrap the gasket all the way around and work the tape off about three or four times. Using this method, you can secure the gasket eight inches at a time, a little at a time. It works perfectly. One gripe, the spread fittings that stick out of the fenders are cheap and thin plastic, so they're difficult to install correctly since the fender fit is quite tight if you follow the instructions. Apart from that, it is definitely a recommendation!.

The quality of what you get depends on the price
3/5

Sorry to hear that. Would have saved myself some money if I had not wasted it. It was not hard to assemble the pieces and they didn't require many tools to install them, but the mold was not perfect. They look cheap and will definitely fade quickly since they are not made with excellent quality. On both sides, there is a zone that isn't flush with the bedside, allowing water to leak in - I have attempted to fix this gap many times, but it is not up to par in terms of material quality. The Chinese made ones are what you get when you buy them, but for now they will do. Bushwacker is the best brand when it comes to fender flares, so I will end up buying those when these start to fade. It would be really nice if I could get a refund since I will have to take these fenders back off since when it rains or shows they will damage my truck more than they do good. My disappointment stems from the fact that they are not molded properly. The problem is that I keep taking them off and putting them back on, but they continue to stay out of alignment.
