With regard to your question, Sticker Shield works fine with standard stickers that have adhesive on the back, however, because of the elements that are outside, like rain, snow, carwashes, etc., we cannot guarantee Sticker Shield to perform well in the outdoors. For example, if the same sticker can be mounted on the inside of the window, you can cut a piece of Sticker Shield that is approximately 12 inches larger than your sticker on all sides and use that as a frame to frame up the sticker on the interior of the car window. This application method requires you to remove the original backing paper from your permit sticker without removing the original backing paper. The ceramic film with this item is a great way to adhere your registration and inspection stickers to the front windshield without the need to actually adhere them to the glass, and the clear ceramic film without scratches caused by removing old stickers, saving your clear film from damage.
