This does not sit well with me. When I drove over 55 mph for the first time, the straps that hold it down in the back snapped. It is made of extremely low-cost plastic. I've worn it twice now, and both times I've had to stop and remove it completely due to the excessive flapping. I wish I had bought one straight from Jeep instead. It's more like s***ty bilt than smitty bilt.
To begin with, it was a pain to get it to snap on to the matching Smittybilt header bar, and I only used it for about 6 months. After 7 years of no major complaints, I decided to disassemble it for storage, and three of the metal snaps snapped. It is now completely useless.
When driving faster than 30 miles per hour, this extended top makes a lot of noise.
THE WATER POURS ON YOU AS SOON AS YOU GET IN THE JEEP! I AM NOT GOING TO BUY ANOTHER ONE LIKE THIS!.
It didn't fit well because it was too loose.
Wrap a towel around the center bar and tuck it under it. Before securing the straps to the channels, wrap them around the roll bar legs. NO FLAP! br>br> br>br>I'm in love with my Extended Top. The airflow is fantastic.
