Anyone complaining about it not being watertight should remember that it is a Jeep! Because of this, there are plugs in the floor. It's a single piece meant to be worn with two others, so it's not a full soft top, but it's also not as expensive as one. Having said that, it was not difficult for me to put on. All three bikinis and wraparound jammers are in my possession. Installing a deck cover follows a specific procedure: 2-way wind blocker 3- a bikini top or a top of any kind cover for the deck The jammer is hidden beneath the top. After that, the deck cover wraps around the jammer in all four corners. In terms of blind spot reviews, I have a hard top as well. The blind spot isn't much different, but I'm not sure what you'd expect it to be. Is it a piece of fabric wrapped around your back? & Are you complaining about the fact that you have a roll bar as well? They make these things called mirrors, if I recall correctly. br>Benefitsbr>*It looks ridiculously cool. Keeps 95% out of the rain because it rains sideways at times. br>*easy to install "on your own" because it isn't difficultbr>*quality is presentbr>Consbr>* the buttons aren't my favorite; perhaps charge me a little more. the deck cover should be zippered You can simply zip them together to create a wind jammer. br>It's an excellent product that I would strongly recommend to anyone.
I installed the windjammer, duster, and bikini top all at the same time, and it was fairly simple even without instructions. As a stand-alone part, the fit and finish was excellent, but when combined with the duster and bikini top, the fit and finish resembled three different companies' parts. Between the duster and the windjammer, there are huge gaps. The windjammer is attached to the duster with three snaps, but it would be more secure if the sides could be attached as well. When the plastic on the straps becomes old and brittle, it will fail much sooner than one would expect, so I'd like to see metal as an alternative. br>With the exception of a few minor issues that are more common with multiple products, I am very pleased with it. Despite my reservations based on other reviews, the stitching is fine. Because of the wraparound style, even the short bikini top has no gaps on the sides. If you don't want water to seep around the top roll bar, the longer safari top is the way to go. The windjammer is a well-made item.
but ok. It looks great and does a great job of isolating the front two seats. The best top tonneau cover, on the other hand, does not work with it. When I spoke with the best top customer service (which was actually very good), they told me that's how they're supposed to be joined (see photo). In that nice little spot behind the seats, there's about a 7" gap where water can freely flow into your jeep. There's also a visible blind spot where the windows come to a halt. Also, if you're like me and have the seat all the way back, it'll rub. But if you don't mind the noise, it's not too bad. Finally, the snap buttons are poor quality; one of them was broken when I received the package. Best top sent a replacement for free, but it's very difficult to snap them, and it doesn't run the entire length, as shown in the photo. It looks fantastic, and it's a great summertime outfit. It is not recommended for tall people or those who do not enjoy driving in the rain in their jeep.
I like how it fits snugly and keeps most of the elements out, but is it waterproof? no. . Will it keep you dry? Yes, and it looks great. However, Bestop did not have a deck cover that worked with it when I bought it on November 4th, 2016 (I called to confirm). However, after a few minor tweaks, my dust cover and jammer are now fully functional. I read a few reviews that said it was difficult to put on, so I guess they never put on a NEW top of any kind because I had no problems. It was tight at first, but they always are the first few times, but it now fits perfectly.
Very dissatisfied with the return because it was not as advertised.
My favorite feature is how quickly it helps the Jeep warm up in the mornings when it's cold outside. It's an excellent windjammer in general. Installing it is a pain (or perhaps I'm just lazy), and I don't think it's worth the effort for just one day; I've had it on for the entire winter. Even with the doors open, I used it once. It does, however, leave two small holes where the jammer meets my top, through which rain can occasionally enter. However, I did not anticipate a completely sealed cab, and the rain has no effect on me. Aside from that, this windjammer is fantastic!.
In Massachusetts, I can now ride without my Hardtop for 9 months out of the year!.
I wish the center hole had zippers, but otherwise, this is an excellent product. Even with the full top on, water seeped through to the floor boards.
