I thought this was a pretty decent product and felt like it was well made, photos (attached to this review), one of the seams on this bag tore, but fortunately, it did not rain during our trip, so this was no big deal however, I will never purchase another item from this brand in the future. Considering how many reviews claim the same issue with this product, it is clear that it is of low quality. I would recommend that people stay away from this brand. If I get a refund from Amazon I will be very happy. When I contacted this manufacturer about the issues I had, and other issues I found in other reviews, it seems that the company has very little interest in either the safety of its customers and their belongings, or the safety of the drivers who may be near these stupid roof top bags when they malfunction. The Rightline Gear website is not a good place to buy anything.

While relocating from Virginia to Arizona, we used this carrier to stay on top of our Prius C. Considering that this was the first car top carrier we'd purchased, I read reviews before making my purchase. All of the advice about making sure it is zipped all the way, if the zipper is covered and does not face the wind, putting the bag on top of the car and then loading it were all very helpful. During the journey, we endured all kinds of harrowing weather conditions. The weather has been cold and rainy with a lot of snow. Is was not wet or damaged in any way. Carriers did their jobs well and did so on time. There was some noise, but it was You will expect to have a giant bag on top of your car when you have a big bag? It would be a great addition to my collection if I ever needed another carrier. It's a reasonable price and they do a good job.

The bag was the only thing I needed to haul the items I could not otherwise fit in my Kia Soul as I drove 1,600 miles across four states from Baltimore to Colorado. My only complaint is that I haven't had any problems with This bag fits four large boxes of clothes and other random items, it is huge. There are a lot of mixed reviews on here about this item, but let me tell you how to avoid having a bad experience with it. Make sure you stuff the bag to the brim! You will have less issues with it sliding and sticking to your car if it is heavier. You will hear less noise and it will tear less easily (my bag had no tears after it was packed). The more shape the bag gets, the less noise it will make (mine barely made any noise at all). In order to prevent sharp objects from poking through, I used my comforter as the top layer. Because we didn't purchase the car clips, we slipped the rope through the slots in the car clips to get a better grip on It is highly recommended that you do so. If you want the bag not to fly open, place the zipper opening toward the back of the car so the wind cannot blow it out. You are all set to go! Just cinch it down as tightly as possible! There will probably be a few extra hands required to load the trash onto your car, since it will be pretty heavy.
