I got extra storage when I needed it the most. We have acquired so many things that we have decided to purchase a Mockins Waterproof Cargo Roof Bag Set before leaving Texas. A mat was included to protect the finish on my van, which I appreciated. During our travels with the Mockins Cargo Bag atop our vehicle, we covered 655 miles. The Oklahoma weather was wet with three storms. We arrived at our destination with our luggage and other items safely and securely locked up. There were no damages or water in the room. Keeping everything dry and safe was made possible by the Cargo Bag. I did not have rails on the top of my van, but installation was simple. The bag seems to have a good construction and a very durable surface. Some instructions or suggestions on how to install the bag would have been nice, but installation is straight forward it appears to be well built and quite durable. This was a purchase that I expected to use over and over again, and I believe the Cargo Bag will be around for a long time. I would recommend it to anyone looking for extra storage when.

This bag is awesome. The materials used in this product are sturdy and well-made. As the zipper was closed on mine in the front, there was water inside. The window opened just an inch or two, but when the snow and rain hit, a boot had fallen from the plastic bag and a couple of small boxes were soaked. You can close the zipper on the side with a wire and keep it shut with the wire. There was even a velcro flap over the zipper, yet it opened due to the force of the wind. Nevertheless, I believe it could be fixed fairly easily. These straps are sturdy and nice to hold things in place. Since I have a luggage rack, I did not use the ratcheting straps. It is a nice touch and works very well that the anti slip protection pad is included. Despite all their efforts, the pack did not budge. The bungee net also did not seem to be necessary, so I opted not to use it. The book is definitely worth buying It won't be necessary for me to do so.
