The inside coating of this product is supposed to be durable, but after its first use a lot of it came Damage to its integrity may result from that.
I am sure you could buy a small key lock and loop it through the two handles to lock the zipper, as there is one zipper with two zipper "handles". As we had to transport it to our hotel in the middle of our road trip, I kind of wish we had done that. I would have saved a lot of time if I had done this.
This would not be a good idea! I would take the time to inspect each interior of the vehicle to make sure it is as secure as possible on your roof.
I am sorry, but I can't offer advice on this topic.

As soon as you are finished loading, you may want to roll up the excess straps and tape them to the cinched portion of the straps so they do not The damage could be serious as a result. The only complaints I have would be 1) that the instruction sheet was poorly written and 2) that I wasn't too clear about how to attach the seventh and eighth 5) Like snow chains and their carrying cases, the cargo bag and its carrying bag work the same way. It can't be put back in once it's been removed. It is likely you will hear some noise from the straps, even when In double-spaced font You should check your load every time you stop to make sure that it's still secure, but you should always recheck your load. Our trip was not affected by heavy rain, so I can't rate its resistance to moisture. Though the car was blown by persistent winds exceeding 50 mph, it was still functional.
There are no instructions provided on how to play, at least if you don't have a rack to play with. You may want to watch some videos and read some articles online first. Once you understand it, it's not too difficult to take it on and off once you understand. You may find it easier if you use racks or rails. Don't lose it in the wind by packing extra straps that you can use to keep it cinched down The noise is not dangerous, but it is distracting and it can mask the ring Don't forget to make a checklist! In our haste to zip, we forgot to zip it once and we lost all our bags after about half an hour. Of course, the bag has nothing to do with that. Always zip you skirt, lay it down and velcro the flap, and make sure you have both straps through the body and all four clips before each drive. After clipping the four clips, you can tuck the extra around your waist to prevent it from causing any harm to you. The mileage is a thing of the past. Keep things light up there - don't put heavy stuff up there Sleeping bags, camping gear, or even a suitcase that is not too full would be great for this. It has that to offer, so you'll love it. You can save trunk space by storing cinder blocks and other heavy items there.
This is being used on a trip right now. After driving from Illinois to the panhandle it started raining moderately for a few hours, and the roof started leaking. I began to wonder if it would ever dry out so I kept working at it. Then we realized that our clothes were wet after we arrived at our hotel. I am in trouble. It wasn't soaking wet, but had a wet feeling. What more could you expect than to see water rushing off this thing at 85mph? Clearly the zipper had to have been the entry point. The best way to store suitcases is in large trash bags.
When the bag arrived, I had high hopes that it would be beautiful and of high quality. It's got quick release straps that make it easier to install than the older Fox brand one I had, plus it's got a more aerodynamic shape, so it might help with some fuel economy. There are a few other benefits, but that's about it. I, I repeat I, do not recommend this bag for outdoor use. The zipper in this bag is not tapped so any rain, no matter how light, will get through and soak the bags inside. The main reason for this appears to be the low quality Water can get into the vehicle through the untouched zipper, because there is a weather strip covering the zipper, but it immediately flips back up once the vehicle reaches anything remotely close to highway speeds. To be fair, the bag is quite large, I could fit five suitcases and three folding beach chairs inside it without any problem. It would be fine if you were 100% sure of good weather the entire time. Rain is no reason to take the risk.
The compartment was big enough to hold the clothes of my family of four and two tents for a weekend of camping without any issues. The weather was a little iffy on the way, maybe 15 to 20 minutes of rain During the first 20 minutes of the Florida rain, only a light rain falls. I was pleased with the way the bag strapped on to the roof, stayed in place while we were driving, and did not move. Our next camping trip will be a lot more enjoyable with it.
need more tie-ins, please inform the customer service department A ratchet strap can be added for down protection. The bag is pretty and I love it. It's just been 5 days since I moved from Washington, DC to Florida in my Hyundai Elantra, with this bag strapped to the roof. The installation process is simple - it only takes a few minutes Due to the lack of a roof rack, the bag just goes on top of the car, and the straps provided fit through the loops in the bag and around the bag. added an extra layer of protection by securing the ratchet strap over the runner. Water resistance held up fairly well (no puddles found inside the bag despite heavy rain. Basically, "sweating" is just condensation on the surface). I also like the velcro around the bag for extra security. The zippers did not move much.
Until I saw this carrying case, I had no idea that it existed! My apartment is severely storage impaired, so I was dreading the awkward amount of space it would take up in the closet. Thus I am pretty happy that it will mostly fit back into a nice cube shape (hopefully). As far as materials and quality are concerned, this is a very good buy! The kit came with more than enough straps and is pretty easy to use. Using it right out of the box has not been a problem! In terms of size, I knew it would be bigger than what I expected, but it's definitely bigger than I anticipated! Next month, we will go on a mini-vacation 4 hours away for a long weekend with 5 kids and 2 adults so we need all the space we The hope is to fit everything in this bad boy, and that it will stay dry in the event of It's my prayer that the wind will not tear the straps or the fabric while I'm driving. A later update will be made.
The bag was very durable, and we did not have any rain on our trip, so I cannot evaluate its water resistance, but the thickness and feel of the material made me think if water did come inside, it would have been a result of a partially open bag. As we traveled toward our destination, I thought installation would be simple, but the straps on the inside of the vehicle started to slip as we drove. As we were walking, our friends behind us came up to us telling us that our bag was dancing. In order to prevent the straps from slipping through the buckle, it is difficult to determine which way they should be fed. Tying knots inside the straps and wrapping them around itself was the way we managed to rig it. For this reason, I wouldn't recommend it unless you have a rooftop rack for it to be mounted on.
