When we placed our order, it stated that it was in stock and that it was prime, but we have yet to receive a shipping confirmation after two weeks. Both times we called, we were given the runaround. They stated that it is in stock, but they did not specify which fulfillment center it is located in. Another thing they said was that we'd get a shipping confirmation in the next five days.... It's been two weeks since I last saw you!
Hello Michael,br>The photo you see is a standard photo for the product; Thule had planned to release an accessory crossbar, but we were unable to design one that would pass our testing.
Yes, this will fit over the vehicle's factory crossbars.

Over the weekend, I had this installed on my 2014 Subaru Crosstrek. It took my girlfriend and me about four hours to put this together and secure it to the roof of my car. It wasn't difficult, but we did get stuck trying to understand some of the instructions at times. Furthermore, neither of us had ever built or secured a roof rack to a car before, so we proceeded with caution to ensure we were doing things correctly and that this thing didn't fly off my roof the next day, as I had a 200-mile drive ahead of me. It looks fantastic and is very sturdy. br>br> It has a minor effect on the driving characteristics. At highway speeds, I felt a little more vulnerable. The increase in wind noise entering the cabin was the most noticeable change. It was startling at first, but after about an hour, I became accustomed to it. The mileage on the highway has decreased by about 2 miles per gallon. In general, I'm pleased. br>br>.
Except for the flimsy plastic air dam, I really like this rack. Perfectly fitted to a 17 Outback. We've already used it a few times and are very pleased with its functionality. The air dam is a joke, but the basket and mounting hardware are of good quality. The highway bends and becomes crooked every time I drive down it. Although it was not a functional or structural issue, I expected aluminum for the price. If it was, I'd give it a five-star rating. Overall, this was a fantastic purchase!.
It receives three stars because it looks great and appears to be well-made on my 2017 Crosstrek. The parts, on the other hand, were of poor quality. The metal brackets that attached to my crossbars were threaded incorrectly, the plastic brackets that attached to the basket itself refused to allow at least two of the screws to be threaded through, and the plastic caps that covered everything had a plastic locking key that was nearly impossible to lock and broke as soon as it did. The bottom of the basket was scratched, but I believe this was due to shipping issues. I installed it anyway because it's a tool for transporting equipment and protecting my car from scratches, so it'll get scratched up anyway. I really like it, so I'm hoping it sticks.
This is the only basket on the market that contours to most SUVs' natural contours. It worked great, was simple to install, was sturdy, and looked fantastic on my 2019 Rav4 Adventure. HOWEVER, WHEN PEOPLE SAY THESE ROOF BASKETS GENERATE WIND NOISE, THEY ARE NOT KIDDING. This one is no exception, despite being a little more aerodynamic. It screamed, whistled, and sounded like the moon. Roof is unfit for use. It's a small price to pay for something so useful, but it's something to think about. I dropped about two pounds. After installing this and dragging it, I got 3 MPG.
I bought this Canyon XT cargo basket and it's great, but the wind deflector keeps warping on both sides. I'm hoping they have a solution or an upgrade with thicker plexiglass. Please let me know if there are any upgrades or changes on this wind deflector because it's very annoying.
It had the consistency of a rock! It had numerous tie-down points and protected the top of my Jeep from scratches.
To go with my Thule xporter pro, I purchased the Thule cargo rack. There are no moving parts, and it's simple to put together like most luggage racks. It takes a little more effort to attach to your roof rack. The instructions are written in a illiterate style, with no words and only small pictures to help you understand how the parts fit together. A YouTube video is a great option. The most difficult part appears to be spacing the cross bars to the proper distance, especially for my application because the xporter is also equipped with a hullavator pro kayak rack. br>br>I chose Thule because it matches the xporter pro, but it is very expensive for what you get. During installation, the rack was relatively easy to scratch. The attachment brackets, which are made of plastic and part of the assembly that secures the basket to the roof rack, did not impress me. The bolts screw into the plastic, don't have a metal nut on the end, and don't appear to be very long-lasting. This appears to be a potential safety hazard. br>br>You can purchase four locks to secure it to your roof for an additional $60. The locks can also be easily dismantled by using a box cutter to cut the plastic bracket. If you park this on the street, you'll need to get a bike lock because it'll almost certainly be stolen. These locks must bring in a lot of money for Thule. Other brands of racks I've bought come with free locks. br>br>I was taken aback by Thule's low-cost attachments, which can wear out and pose a safety hazard or allow the product to be stolen easily. I haven't put it to use yet, but I intend to get some metal brackets for it.
It's a perfect fit for a Mini Countryman! Mini OEM racks are used for mounting.
