Feelings of frustration. It is likely that the item was used. It's so frustrating! A part is missing! When I was trying to assemble, I nearly lost my marriage. There were no screws attached to the feet for attaching the bar to the feet. After sifting through everything we looked three times through the shipping material to find the missing items and they weren't in it. While trying to tighten the bolts while the racks were attached to the Jeep, one of the bolts is completely rounded on the inside as though it has been eaten. I would dare think that we got an item which had previously been returned incorrectly by someone who didn't know what he or she was By this point, he had had enough and tossed the entire lot in the trash. He announced that we are going to throw the kayaks out the back door tomorrow morning and hope for the best. I want my money back, this was a mess.

Despite their high quality, these racks are very affordable. Although not cheap, once you hold them in your hands during installation you'll appreciate the subtle curve and strength of the metal, both aerodynamic and complementary to the roofline of the vehicle. Although they were mounted through the gutters, the racks still look like they're factory installed. Powder coat in matte black is gorgeous! Until I have driven the vehicle, I have not taken it on the road. If there is more to say after boarding, I will post an addendum.

The Rhino Rack is just like any other rack on the market, it performs averagely. It is not difficult for any manufacturer to design an "easy to install" vehicle, thanks to Jeep Wrangler's As for my cons, they have to do with Rhino Customer Support. After installing the Rack per instructions, 3 of the 4 U rubbers that protect the Top from scratching came loose while installing. After contacting Rhino to request replacements and for support, they offered to sell me a new set of U-bolts I had to buy $11 dollars worth of rubber because of the rack price of $269. As the rack's price stands towards the mid to high end compared to the market options, it makes sense to expect Rhino to stand behind its product by offering these parts (rubbers) at no additional charge. To me, this is incomprehensible. Rather than buying this product, I suggest you look into other cheaper alternatives first. It doesn't mean you will receive more for your money when you pay more for a product This is not a Rhino product.

Performing a double check before installing, I thought I had all the hardware. After 80% penetration of the installation, I found out that one of the dowel nuts had broken. The search was extensive, but no results were found. In addition, it was only 10 degrees outside during the install, so we had no option but to go backwards in the cold. Even though I was able to make a DIY solution, I still think the price is a bit excessive considering what I paid. There appears to be only one mount for this rain guard system. It appears only above the front and rear doors. There are many other ESTABLISHED brands that have mounting systems above doors or in the rear cargo area, such as DIRECTV and AT&T. I find this to be a very weak design. To be honest, I would seek other solutions if I were you.
