There is an 88-pound load capacity.
As long as you have edging on the hardtop sides to attach the bars, you're good to go.
The issue is with the rack's attachment to the Jeep top rails. They aren't usually designed to carry that much weight and then drag while driving.

I'd like two in the back and one in the front, if possible. One cross bar is for the front and the other is for the back, as stated in the product description. I purchased two sets once more. The cross bar is of excellent quality and is very affordable. The mounts appear to be well made and scratch resistant where they meet the rain gutters, and it even has a rubber strip to keep things from sliding, scratching, and making noise. When mounted in the back, there is no road noise at all. I am extremely pleased.
They were mostly put together when they arrived. It was as simple as screwing the two end pieces on each bar and loosening the bolts that held the hard top in place. Each bar snapped into place with ease and was securely fastened. I didn't require the assistance of a man to complete the installation! Haha!.
The sum total is $500. As a result, at this price point, it's a good choice. br>br>Please keep in mind that this is not an Amazon or Prime return company shipping from Canada, so returns are difficult and base level $40, so plan to sell or gift it if it turns out to be the wrong item for you and your Jeep. br>br>Friendly service, but do not purchase this with the expectation of returning it. Otherwise, enjoy the product and use this system to build a good, simple rack.
There is very little noise, the installation is simple, and the price is reasonable.
This specifies that it is for an 18-year-old. 21 JL, which is mostly correct, but as owners will know, the JL has a drip gutter that runs the length of the hard top. Only the back door is open at JK's. The JL should have two bars of equal length as an option. The rear over the rear side windows and the front over the back seat doors were still possible to install. It was tight, but it went on without a hitch, and it didn't bow out of the gutter or anything; it's just very tight. Having said that, I am extremely pleased with the final outcome.
Installing it was a breeze. Work well with surfboards. They are reasonably priced and appear to be of good quality.
We have a vehicle that isn't like the one in the picture, so I figured it would work because it showed a picture of a Jeep. It will only attach to the front portion of the top, which is where we like to remove it. We wouldn't be able to take advantage of pleasant days. We were only able to attach it to a 2010 Wrangler Sahara right above the driver's seat. a travel companion Purchased for the purpose of mounting a large roof rack. To be positioned in the vehicle's rear. We don't have any rails in the back. br>Do not buy from this seller; they keep saying they'll return, but all they want to do is talk. They don't pay attention to what we've emailed them. (3 times)br> Avoid doing business with this firm. I bought it with the expectation of having no problems.
It was better than I had anticipated.
