Unless you're looking for something that's too big to fit in the pipe (and yes, I did buy a 6" sewage pipe), you've come to the right place. I had to order a 6" pipe end cap and then modify it to fit the back end pipe. The hinged part was also too big, so the pipe had to be modified to fit. I decided not to use the end cap that it came with instead of gluing the PVC end cap instead, so I used 50% of the stuff they sent me. So 2. It should be possible to give 5 stars.
I used it as a sewer hose carrier for my RV. I wish this would fit lighter-duty PVC instead of schedule 40, but even schedule 40 has a too-large diameter. I was able to make it work, but I wasn't completely satisfied. I decided to keep it, but only because I don't know of any other option. So, it works, it's a little pricey for what you get, and you'll have to put up with some flaws.
The only issue is that the cap and hinged cap included in the kit do not fit snugly over the ends of 6 inch pvc pipe, and the flared end was even loose. To close the gap, I needed to use automotive strip insulation. One would think that if a product is designed to fit a standard pipe size, there would be no more than a half-dozen variations. play by inch.
For what it is, it is simply overpriced. The endings are particularly appealing to me. The brackets (concave plates) are stainless (great) but too long for square bars and the edges are sharp, so get your drill ready. I can't tell you how many times I've cut myself. Although the price is excessive, it is less expensive than the few other alternatives available. Good luck in your search for the U- To make your own, place brackets of this size anywhere. oh well. It's effective and efficient.
Excellent, but with a diameter of only 6", it's difficult to fit a spinning reel in it while on the rod.
This is fantastic. I used the black version for sewer hose fittings on my RV, and it works great with six inch schedule 40 PVC from a plumbing supply store.
They look greatbr>Easy to installbr>I bought the 6" pvc pipe at plumbing supply and it took me about 30 minutes to put them together.
Everything is in order. The only requirement is that the front cover be convex in order to reduce drag.
