Yes, it is designed to fit on the hood hinges, but you can drill holes in it to mount it anywhere. I have mine mounted on the tire carrier under the spare tire. Thank you, Shannon Dameron Morriston Florida.
You can mount them on any high lift jack, just be sure to select the location where it needs to be mounted.
In addition, there is a place for the highlift jack on the rear tire mounts. Get in touch with your local 4x4 shop to find out more.

It was imperative that my jack be placed somewhere. I was looking at this and thought that was the best place to put This is no longer necessary. My installation only took about 15 minutes, then I was able to put the jack in. Easy to do. It worked for my 98 TJ because they had the right bolts. When I spray my window washer sprayer, it does not hit my windows in any way. In contrast to its past function, the hood now does not lay completely on top of the window. However, if I need to go back that far, I can always remove the jack. If you are going to get a jack handle isolator, I recommend that you do so. Makes the rattle go faster. Due to the oversized tires on my TJ, she vibrates a lot, so her wingnuts shake loose from time to time. With just two more turns, they are back to their normal state.
It was a great product. There was no instruction manual. The bolts for yj and jk are included. Tj is not the one. It may just be a case of labeling that is a little off, but all of the provided bolts do fit exactly as needed. I have no problems using this on my tj. I expected it to be much sturdier than it turned out. An extra hole in this lock will let you use a good padlock. The reason anyone would spend more money on a different style is beyond me. There's a lock on this, so it's sturdy. The Jack even seems to be distributed just as evenly. Compared with my expectations, I expected the weight to be on one side. As it turns out, it holds If directions came with it, I would have given it 5 stars. Despite being simple, I had to take several guesses as to which bracket to put on each side.
Edit- If you are installing a Jack, make sure it faces toward the front of the Jeep. In that case, Jack would be hit by the windshield squirter instead of making it to the As shown in the picture, contrary to what is shown.
It looks like a Jeep. The hood has just been added with this decal. It didn't occur to me that I would care so Didn't do it almost as much as I wanted to. I think it looks SOOOO much better now. My heart almost races when I read that. The Jeep I have is my pride and joy. The reason I have an old jeep is because I use it a lot. A truck equipped with lifts and lockers, big tires, low gears, etc. There will never be a sale of this. Yet a minor thing such as this can jar it all together. I'm better now. It might be time to make a decision if you're on the fence. It's just a matter of buying it.
As I was installing my Hi-Fi, I thought it would be a good idea On the bed of my Chevy Silverado, I lifted a jack. Amazon was the first place I went to search for brackets for the Hi-Def I was looking for a hood lift jack and came across these from Auxmart. I knew that they would easily bolt up inside my bed after looking at them closely. In the end, I bought some thread inserts and the brackets shown here. It took two days for them to arrive. In less than an hour, I had them installed in my bed, and I think the position of the jack is the perfect one, not in the way, but easy to reach. You may be interested in a YouTube video I made showing the installation as a thank you from Auxmart. YouTube channel for Streetryderz209 can be found here.
I'm buying my second set because they do work pretty well, but they rust like no one's I purchased my first set of golf clubs about three years ago. They lasted me for three years before rusting out and they cost much less than the name brand option (and do The next time around, I will probably add a bit of primer and go over it with a few more coats.
My bags were unmarked, but I was able to grab the correct ones on the first attempt. Please remember that it isn't the item's fault that the OEM torx bolts stripped out and needed to be extracted. You might want to keep that in mind if you have never had them removed.
Apart from that, the mount seems to hold up nicely, and I love that the extra hole allows me to keep a lock on it instead of spending an additional $40 or so.
The product seems durable and looks great. It fits well and appears to fit well. One complaint I have is that there are no instructions provided, as the mounting location and purpose of the bolts are unclear to me (I still don't know what they're all for, especially the ones in In the JK, there are two bolts that are half an inch with two lock nuts and two wing nuts, whereas in the TJ, there are three bolts that are maybe quarter-inch in diameter? If I remember correctly, there were also three bolts. It's the same for the YJ, if I remember correctly (my apologies I don't have the bolts with me), with Alan wrenches needed for the heads. The JK hardware was used to secure the jack to the bracket with 2 holes, and I went to Home Depot and bought a 3/8-inch stud This project requires a 16 x 1" bolt and a locking jack knob (which has worked well An okay product, but it would be better if it had.
Installation was more difficult than I expected, since the stock bolts had to be removed. It was one of them who stripped No rattle is heard from the Jack once it is attached. The jack still fits through the hole when the hood is resting on the windshield, at least on mine. As far as I can tell, the jack blocks.
