researching several cargo carriers on amazon, I selected the king bird cargo carrier as the one I purchased. You've done an AMAZING job here! The unit is very easy to put together, but it's a very solid unit It has a carrying capacity of 60'' x 24"", so it's somewhat larger than many others I have seen. There are places on the steel tube where it is very thick, especially where it is welded. It had enough clearance for me to open my back door easily with no problem, so I think it will last for a long time on my Chevrolet. Since I am able to fold up the carrier when I am not in use after dropping something off, I find it extremely convenient for parking and moving around. My flight from Dallas, TX to Los Angeles, CA went without any problems. The trip was accompanied by a lot of rain. In my field testing of this quality product, it performed well without any signs of rust. I am looking forward to many more camping trips with this product. In addition, these straps and reflectors that are provided by this manufacturer are quite practical. The lock plate I bought was also a good buy. By using the locking plate, the basket will not bounce when you drive. My overall opinion is that this basket carrier is something that everyone should try.

However, it was scratched up when it arrived. I am most impressed by the quality of this product, including its ease of assembly. It arrived scratched up, which is the only issue I have. As I use it, I am sure it will get scratched up. Although this review would've been five stars if the item had been packaged better, it received only four. Due to shipping, there are a few holes in the box. Inside the box, one of the metal end plates was loosely attached. It banged against other metal parts. It appears the paint has been scratched with various gashes that need to be repaired to prevent rust. Preventing this issue might be as simple as packaging such as styrofoam inserts. Although I recommend it, be aware that if you are very sensitive to it you may experience some discomfort There will be a part of you that isn't entirely satisfied with the item.

Product superior to those out there, I own a few others and there is a noticeable difference. It is built to last and is able to carry heavy weights without issue. Size is very important - very happy with everything about the product except the price. It makes a difference when you have extra inches. My mom uses it for a variety of caregiving and gardening needs (two 30 gal gas holders, bicycles, camping gear, Home Depot stuff, water cases, beach fishing gear, fishing pole holders, etc. )
Our mom thoroughly approves. I made my decision due to two factors Folding is a must, weight capacity and size have sold me, and you'll be surprised with both features.

I bought this for our van, and it will be great to haul extra luggage when we go on vacation with our extended family . We were not expecting the hitch arm to be so long. There is an extra 6 inches of space that does not need to be there. A drill bit would be needed to drill an extra hole and push the drill bit further into the drilling hole. There is plenty of room between the rack and the door to open it 3/4 of the way for our full size van.

The steel is of good quality and very solid. With enough clearance to open the rear gate on a 2015 Jeep Wrangler, this cover fits with the spare tire stored on the gate when folded.

The price at which I purchased it and my expectations were low as well made me purchase this for hunting purposes. As far as quality and durability are concerned, I was pleasantly surprised. This model does the job just fine. Don't waste your money on more expensive models.

The construction is strong, the design is nice, and the assembling is simple. It sticks out too far from the hitch, and that's the only thing I didn't like. So I have more options, I drilled a few more hitch pin holes.

Though it isn't what I expected, it will do. The last three days have been extremely wet. I've had this on my SUV for about a week. A layer of rust has already formed. During this time of the year in Florida, there is a very high level of humidity, but that should not matter to me. Within a few days of its installation, it started to rust. Eventually I will cover it up with paint, but I'm not happy about the situation In addition to this hitch, I have also purchased locks. It was difficult to install because I believe the holes were not drilled correctly. Despite that, I've been able to drive it for many years. know if I'll be able to use this hitch with any more than 250 pounds. It felt like the bottom was "bending" when I laid on it (hard to describe). I'm about 140 pounds. As a stroller and for odds and ends of grocery shopping, I only use it.

The company really needs to apply rust proof paint or provide additional protection to this product! Reading other reviews, I see I'm not the only one who has experienced this! Also, one of the two straps that came with it snapped before I got a chance to use Any straps with those buckles would not feel comfortable to me. I don't think that this program is a bad one but for that price I would not expect to have to do a lot of "mod" work.
