It states clearly in the description of the product that the rack is 44 inches by 35 inches but it has much bigger dimensions higher up. Would you mind telling me?

The actual dimensions of the product are 44 inches wide and 35 4 inches deep. My BMW 3 series coupe is equipped with a basket. Thank you, I hope that helped

What is the fit for a 2012 Honda CRV cargo basket? This crossbar has a 32-inch distance between the cross bars and there is no adjustment. ?

As for the spacing between the bars, 32 inches is perfect. I just measured mine, and they are 32 1/4 inches apart. So far, I am very pleased In particular, the price is quite reasonable.

How does it work in the ?

This universal bar can be installed on any existing bar.

Do you get a cargo net with it?

It's so pretty! I love it! I would like to see the package packaged a little better with more cushioning, but other than that, it is Crossbar brackets hold firmly and securely on to crossbars
5/5

If the bolts are a problem, I strongly recommend either cutting them or using washers instead of using them. In case someone attempted to steal it, I added low profile nuts from Home Depot. A socket is needed to perform this. If they don't have a socket, they won't be able to.

The Highland 1041900 U-S The Venture Steel Rooftop Cargo Basket could also be called the Venture Cargo The product was not designed for 24/7 use
3/5

I received this rack early as a gift for my birthday. The rust on this item was not a concern, so I went ahead with the At first, I was unhappy with how the "rust protection" was applied to the basket. spots where there was a very thin coating of paint or where it was rubbed away during transportation. The packaging was not the best as it had nothing in between the parts to keep them from bumping into each other while in use. There is an issue with the clamps not working but the u-bolts don't There is almost no way to get a tight lock on my 2014 Impreza's stock roof rack cross bars because the bolt threads are so short. A great deal of effort went into the installation, but the build quality is another matter. As a solution to a few spots where the paint was scraped or thin, I sprayed on a couple layers of Plastidip flat black. In addition to its strength, Plastidip should stay together nicely, and the flat black color matches the basket's color nearly perfectly. The U-haul has been out for 1 week now, and the rust is starting to show The heads of bolts and screws have been stripped. As far as hardware is concerned, the basket comes with pretty useless hardware. Now I'm thinking I should take the whole basket off my roof and cover it in plastidip, spray the basket with a few layers of plastidip and spray the U-tube with plastidip The threads of the exposed bolts can be covered with electrical shrink wrap sleeves and the stripped screw heads can be painted. Essentially, it's been a maintenance nightmare since day one, and it isn't even a month old yet. It's going to be a test to see if it holds up during the winter Therefore, the basket appears to have been created for temporary use on the road and not for permanent storage. Make sure you know what you're getting into if you decide to buy this basket. The thing will only last a short while, as it will require some work to make it truly weather and salt resistant. There may have been a lemon in my package, but I'm The price I paid was worth it, I guess.

4/5

A week long adventure from Ohio to South Carolina was facilitated by this bag. We went through quite a few tests There may be storms in the forecast I was impressed by how well the SUV handled. Observed that there are two cyclical patterns During the course of the route, the average gas mileage dropped by 3 mpg, but this was likely the result of the load and the wind resistance. We recommend coating the tube connections with the spray on rubber (leak seal) after assembling the cage, because every nick that was exposed caused rust. After the trip, I noticed that rust covered nicks in the paint, so It is also recommended to coat the U-flanges with a coating A light coat of black spray paint should also be applied to the bolts that hold the cage to the brackets, as they too show signs of rust after usage. Make sure they are coated with some type of waterproof lubricant to keep them from It would be best if you placed some rubber washers between the brackets and nuts to prevent scratches on the paint. As you tighten the nuts, they rust. You can also add another stainless nut or two to keep the nuts from slipping It made me wish I'd thought of it before I traveled. They didn't move much, but enough to make me wish I'd checked them after gas stops. Noise is low at speeds higher than 70mph, so nothing too troubling. If you have to haul stuff around, it would be a good choice.

I am very pleased with this roof top cargo rack
4/5

This cargo basket has been a great purchase for me. Despite it being a little bit on the small side, it easily fits on my Honda Element. Installing it was very easy. As it has a low profile, there is little wind noise. Compared to models from other manufacturers, this one was a great deal less expensive. It does come up on the threads of the screw on the u bracket cover. Once the brackets are snug enough, you can stop turning. Cross bars of all types can be fitted with this. The brackets do not get tight enough and there are rust stains on the joints, according to many reviews. To eliminate rust, I squeezed a couple ounces of silicone sealant inside the tubes where they get joined. I let it stand for a day so that water wouldn't leak in through the screw holes causing the tubes to rust. My tires have been parked for a couple of months, and I have yet to see any rust forming.

The product is great
4/5

It's been standing up to the test of time. Did a lot of research and was reluctant to buy, but this seemed to be the best value I could find for the cost and quality. Consider taking a look at the directions (which I rarely do), since they provided some good tips to help make installation go smoothly. The rubber sleeves that cover the joints do not seem to be rusting so far. It is a little difficult to position them, but the seams seem to be sealed well all in all, they work perfect so far. In fact, I've even hauled lumber on it without a problem. The cargo net that comes with the package is also a good purchase. Today was the first time I used it, and it seems to hold up quite well. However, I did reinforce it to make sure that it would be safe, but it did assist Using the following as a guide I am attached to a Thule system and it was relatively easy to put on. There is only one con, which is that it doesn't have a locking mechanism. A motivated individual could probably manage to grab it in 10-15 minutes if they knew what they were doing and how to go about it.
