This cargo basket has been a great purchase for me. Despite it being a little bit on the small side, it easily fits on my Honda Element. Installing it was very easy. As it has a low profile, there is little wind noise. Compared to models from other manufacturers, this one was a great deal less expensive. It does come up on the threads of the screw on the u bracket cover. Once the brackets are snug enough, you can stop turning. Cross bars of all types can be fitted with this. The brackets do not get tight enough and there are rust stains on the joints, according to many reviews.
