Questions & Answers

What is the difference between an 80*50 insert and an 84*50 insert? Please add more length to this sentence. Does it have 4 crossbars when it goes on an excursion?

The same web extension is also on my wish list. A total of 4 cross rails are also on my deck. If there was a way to extend the deadline, that would be perfect.

Does anyone have a 50in light bar on the most spacious ?

It is not something I have done, but I intend

Can you suggest a place where I can buy an extra extension to make it a little bit ?

You don't have the option to purchase extensions here. Are you feeling left out or must you buy the whole thing over again.

Take the time to read it all! Be sure to read the fine print before purchasing! It will be very helpful to you if you read this! As a rule, I do not write longs reviews, but since this rack may help many people with their storage needs, I will do so here. To begin with, I must state the following Note *You are kindly requested to note Obviously this is a RACK MADE IN CHINA, a cheap rack, and it is CHEAP! There is no doubt about it from the quality and details. **In my situation, I buy the really big one measuring 84" by 50" by 6". I'm all set. As usual, I read reviews before I buy anything. I noticed a few of them note that after a few months of installation, rust appears from inside the rack and the roof of their cars gets damaged, and others suggest sealing the unions when assembling it to avoid the leak. I have a question for you I'm not sure why the rack causes rust to appear inside the tubes! Having studied it in depth, I note something that does not seem to have a clear explanation (at least to me) They send small tubes into the big tubes, but not the other way around. It takes just two points to weld the small tubes! Yes, it's a no-brainer! It does not matter if the unions are sealed or not when assembling it when it rains because when it is windy the water will force its way into the tubes! It is a yes or a no whether the water goes inside! You will have to squeeze through those crazy spaces between the welded unions (repeat! As of right now, I do not understand why they do those holes! Is absolutely possible to weld your construction without drilling holes for the water and avoid doing that! SEE ALL THE PHOTOS I ATTACH TO THIS REVIEW SO THAT YOU KNOW WHY U GET IT. It's ok, ******. At last, I take my time to fix this issue until the install is completed, and I must emphasize that this must be done very clearly! Please do not attempt to install any solid surface material around welded joints if you are unwilling to spend at least 3 to 4 hours covering them all with good silicone. I strongly advise you not to buy it! In the case of installation under your own risk, as the weather may damage the car roof. I have attached a photo of the silicon I use. *** Other information you should know In one of the thick tubes of the joint one of the tubes came quite crooked to one side that I had to force it to assemble it (I am not sure if this is a construction failure or transportation bump, although you don't notice the To the moment I am writing this review, I am awaiting to install it, since this morning I put the silicone. Nevertheless, I appreciate your efforts. Finally, I would like to say the following For me at least, it is a product that does not merit more than 3 stars. *HAVE IN MIND According to the quality and the market, the price is reasonable However, please. A few things to keep in mind The rust coming from the inside will cause you to have to make some repairs if you wish to keep your car for a longer time and are not concerned about the staining from the inside of your vehicle's roof.

Despite the low price and function of this roof basket, it is poorly made

The camper van has been purchased. The device will probably last from a few years to a few decades and do what it is suppose The quality of the product is poor. Take a look at the The van has been on for one week, and there has been little rain. Most of the welds are rusting already. Only some of the welds have been completed. It appears that the cross members are unevenly spaced, with some being too close together for the plastic mounts to fit on them A arrow indicates the location of the problem. There is a U-shaped pattern on the moon In the event that they are installed according to instructions, the clamps will stick up and poke through a Those pointing down should do so. My plan is to do them over again. I feel like the whole thing has a bit of a flimsy feel to it.

This is the Rust Monster

A lot of the reviews mention that the rack's hardware is highly prone to rusting. All the nuts and bolts that I used were blued by heating them with a gas flame and then quenching them with Taping all the holes and covering all the holes was also required. The powder coating was also rolled anywhere two pieces of metal met so vibration would not cause it to wear away. Well, didn't do much of a good in this department. The rack rusted so quickly that it spilled rust all over the car after a few months of winter weather. All of the welds and the inside of the rack are rusting. When I got the rack, I was tempted to spray line it with paint or paint it inside and out before I installed it, but I knew I would have to go on a trip the same week it arrived, so I wanted a bit higher quality rack. A rack so large was so cheap (under $300) that there is no way I could refuse. In addition to the sides of the rack being pretty sturdy. The largest size I bought had a triple crossbar for the roof. If you plan to walk all over the roof, you'll want that third crossbar. A 3rd mount was added just to be safe, but I am not sure if I will need summer, I intend to disassemble it all. I'll give it a few good coats of Rustoleum and just run it till it falls apart. I don't have any concerns about the welds. Across the board, there is only one spot that the weld seems to be not quite on, but everything else seems fine. Besides a spare tire and a small cargo box, I don't need it to carry much else. As long as it is sturdy and high quality, I do not need it to be very durable. I primarily use it to store wood and cargo crates after I have stopped so that I may stop again. It is likely that all the arb mounts and awning will help keep everything If I have the sunroof cover open, I can hear the wind noise quite clearly. I do not hear anything above 70 mph when the doors are closed. Getting tons of air in and out of the front air splitter while driving is a bit challenging due to its placement high off the In order to get moving air up and over the rack, I plan on installing a high sunroof deflector. I would like to see more air coming up and over the rack instead of between it I found it to be sturdy enough for my needs and the right size for my van as well. My only wish would have been to have a better powder coat on I don't mind squandering a little time and dumping a few cans of paint on it for the price. I can't understand. Rust gets 5 out of 5 stars - Strong weld and durability make this product 5 stars.

It's a great fit for the OE rack on a Sequoia from the 1st generation! You will be able to use this rack on a Sequoia 1st Gen

In terms of functionality, the 64” rack I had from Arksen was good, but this is significantly While you pay more than $300, this is still an excellent "basket" style rack.
