Questions & Answers
You'll have to unlock the door. You can take the rack to a Yakima dealer who has a set of keys (call ahead to make sure they can assist you). You could also bring it to a lock smith. The blank hey can be used to remove the core once it has been unlocked; the key code is on the core's side. br>br>Some might suggest drilling out the core's center to remove it, then replacing the core and key. Because you risk permanently damaging or ruining the rack, this should only be used as a last resort.
I haven't decided yet. This website appears to indicate that it is accessible. "Y. a Yakima Key for SKS Roof Racks, Carriers, and Crossbars (Codes A131-A131-A131-A131-A131-A131-A131-A131-A131-A131-A131-A A155 is an acronym for A180)". Other sites, on the other hand, do not include this crucial digit. You could try ordering just one key to see if it works. I'm still waiting for my key, which I requested and typed in. We'll see if it's a direct copy or not. I hope this has been of assistance.
"Control key" is a term I'm unfamiliar with. I went to a local YAKIMA dealer, who had a couple of key rings with at least 100 different keys cut for the product. It took several tries to find the correct key. I scribbled down the key number because he didn't sell keys, and then went online to see who was selling the key number that corresponded to my rig. Don't try to figure out what number you have by guessing.
Return to the "Returns" section. At the top of the page, there is a tab labeled "Orders." To find the transaction, click it and scroll through your orders. To return or replace items, go to the "Problem with order" tab or the "Return or Replace items" tab.br>FYI: There are about 100 different key cuts; all keys fit in the cylinder, but only one of the 100 will turn the lock. To determine the correct key, look for a local dealer who has a key set.

These are fantastic keys. They function and fit as if they were made in a factory. I dug out my old barrel and found the number stamped on it; I entered it into the seller page, and a week later, I had new keys. At $60 for a new barrel and key set, this is a much better deal. The keys also have a code printed on them, so you can get more without having to figure out the code.
I'm not sure what to say. It's a key, and it's functional. (The code functioned perfectly. ) ) Two keys arrived ahead of schedule, costing less and arriving faster than my local rack shop. All in all, a fantastic deal.
My yakima SKS cores, which I'd had for a long time, worked perfectly. For a hard to find item, this was a fantastic find.
I was able to send them back to be replaced with ease. There were no queries. I would definitely buy from them again.
It's pointless. When the order was placed, I provided all of the required information. Cutting bits (teeth) on new keys were nowhere near as good as those on the original keys they were designed to replace. The new keys did not work in the Yakima Core Locks, which was not surprising. I couldn't get it to unlock or lock. I explained the inadequacy of the duplicate keys as well as my dissatisfaction with the product and requested a refund. I have yet to receive a response or a refund.
Because my used cargo box only came with one key, I bought two of these. They are in perfect working order and arrived on or before the scheduled delivery date. Quite a bit.
The correct key for our Yakima roof box was simple to find: Look for a Yakima key on Amazon, then copy the key number from an old key and paste it into the Yakima key website. The key was in fact functional.
I needed a new key because my old one was bent. This was the cheapest one I could find on the internet, and it's fantastic.
