At highway speeds, a minor noise can be heard with just the cross bars in place. I quickly forgot about that noise because it was so minor. It's easy to miss, especially if you're listening to the news or a conversation.
Yes, it will fit a 2017 suburban, and it comes with all necessary accessories.
Sorry, but it does not apply to Latin America.
There is, in fact, a rubber strip.

They are strong and durable. Metal is used in the boots. The instructions are bad, and one of the allen wrenches that came with it didn't fit the screws. The instructions and diagrams are also difficult to read due to the small print. After reading other reviews, I discovered that the "bump" in the directions should point towards the front of your vehicle. The "bump," which is a series of raised bars that run the length of your bars, reduces wind noise. I'd buy these again if I had the money. I haven't heard any road or wind noise, and the bars look great on my car.
The hardware is flimsy at best. Use the hardware that came with the box instead. You are going to be let down. Upgrade your hardware to include nice racks at your local hardware store.
Excellent roof rails that are simple to install and do not have the issue with screws that some have reported. I loaded my rocked box onto the rails and cruised for 1200 miles at 70 to 80 mph with no issues. If the roof skylight was open, there was some wind noise, but when it was closed, there was very little. I'd buy these again, and they're a lot less expensive than the same racks on GM's website.
Plan on replacing the cheap crappy bolts. I suppose the price reflects the product's quality. It works fine after replacing the bolts, which is probably why it's so inexpensive.
These were installed in a matter of minutes on my 2020 GMC Yukon XL. All of the components were included, including bungee cords for securing cargo. A fantastic product at a fraction of the cost of a dealership purchase.
It is very simple to set up. Wish the seller had a better photo of the installation to show which side is the bumper side. The allen-head bolt has a groove in it. Deeper wrenches are possible. Aside from that, this item is excellent and appears to be very durable.
As previously stated, the screws are of poor quality and fit far too tightly in the thread on the Tahoe rail, resulting in the stripping of the thread. Another issue was that when I removed the plastic plug from the Tahoe rail, the entire threaded groove socket striiped out, which was a pain because I couldn't tighten or loosen the supplied screws and had to remove what I had put on with a hammer and a screw driver on the socket. The product is sturdy, but I had a lot of trouble installing it on my vehicle, so I'll be returning it.
Don't buy this dreadful product! Then they expect you to cover the cost of shipping when you return it! No way.
