Is this compatible with the Rollback G2 cover?

I have a soft tonneau that fits inside the rail.br>If it fits inside the rail, it should work fine.

Is this the only piece of equipment I'll need to install the Backrack?

This is not required for mounting the back rack. It's only necessary if your cover is low-profile.

Please forgive my ignorance, but what does a "Backrack Tonneau Adapter" do?

If your truck's bed has a cover, you can keep it in place while installing the Backrack. My truck's bed, for example, is protected by an Access cover. Because the head rail is slightly higher than the truck's bed, I would have had to remove the Access cover to install the Backrack without this 'adapter.' I hope this has been of assistance.

I've heard that in order to use this product, I'll need a specific bed cover. Is this correct? Isn't it true that I already own the cover and the headache rack?

On my 2014 F350, I'm using a bakflip G2 with the adapter plate and standard backrack. It can be used with a variety of bed covers. Every bed cover and backrack configuration has specifications on Backrack's website.

It was incredibly simple to install and allowed me to keep my F250's backrack while also adding a Tonneau cover. There are no complaints about the adapter because it appears to be made of high-quality materials and is well-made. For a reasonable price, it does exactly what it says.

It was a little pricey, but it did what it was supposed to do

It did exactly what it said it would do. I was able to install the Backrack 10300 Safety Rack on top of my Access cover as a result of this. It's a tight fit, but it's functional. To make your life easier, you'll need to loosen up your cover hardware before you start installing. Backrack hardware should be loosely fitted at first, and then tightened.

I needed to install my Tonno Pro low profile roll up cover on my 2014 F-150, so I had to add this under my backrack. 350 All in all, it was a very simple installation. It hasn't given me any problems and does exactly what it's supposed to. It took about a day and a half for the package to be delivered. It's impossible to beat.
