Reviews may be misleading if they are negative
5/5

I love the product because it is so affordable. These are said to not adhere to the surface according to some reviews. The process must not have been done I have posted a video of a 15 year old boat with zero issues. Taking care to prepare the surface and applying a good pressure will produce results. Adhesion of perfect quality. We received the set much sooner than what we originally anticipated (6 days earlier). were well packed and perfectly in good shape when they arrived. Depending on how old your boat is, it can be hard to install with some oxidation, but good preparation makes the installation go smoothly. I had no issues with color and measurements. It worked for me after I cut my hull down to three sections because there was a slight curve to it, but it still looks awesome! The vinyl letters do not look as good as the individual ones. The boating buddies I have recommended this to all voted it as the best boat I have ever owned. It is impossible to comment on their durability since they are still new, however, they appear to be.

There was a problem with the quality of the letters and the support
3/5

When we tried to adhere the packets to our boat, the numbers were stuck more to the paper backing than to The transfer tape and the letters both had a significant number of bubbles. Our attempts to remove them were unsuccessful and we gave up. In my email to 1060 Graphics, they responded that they would turn the sheet over and squeegee out the bubbles. We were not able to implement this. We also received an email informing us that the temperature should be between 75 and 80 degrees (an extremely narrow window), yet we watched their application video several times before attempting to use it and it Our attempt was made when it was 80 degrees. The company refused to replace it, so we bought another set at another retailer.

You won't be able to use this
3/5

I like the concept of the product, but the execution of it is awful. There is something to be said about the vinyl lettering sticking more to the backing sheet than to anything else except the carrier sheet it should The preparation work was done exactly as shown in the video, but I struggled to get my vinyl lettering to adhere to my kayak hull, although it had no problem staying attached to the carrier sheet which would pull it off the hull surface even after being burnished as indicated. This is an excellent design to apply lettering to. I would gladly do it if it worked. My experience with it was less than satisfactory. There will be no use for this supplier in the future. The vinyl lettering has yet to be tested in use, so we are unsure whether it will stay in place. I doubt it, but we will have to wait and see. A waste of time and money that is likely to lead to frustration.

The perfect fit, the perfect look, and the perfect I love the way it sticks to the boat's surface, and it looks great too
5/5

It would be great if it could be added to the description and clearly visible on top to let customers know each order will contain TWO sets of letters and numbers. a little confused when I received 4 sets after I had ordered only 2 sets)).

It's great to have boat registration numbers from both sides as well
5/5

These were bought for the registration of my boat. There are two complete sets of numbers included in each order. Watch the video on 1060 Graphics' website to ensure that you install it correctly. The important thing is to keep the paper backing and the surface damp. It took me 10 minutes to complete the task. A vinyl number appears to stick to the boat's surface and is sturdy. Under a few letters, I had a few tiny bubbles. With a plastic spatula, I worked the bubbles off of the closest edge of the paper, with the wax side facing up. When you roll your plastic film with the letters back onto the surface, roll slowly and use the plastic spatula to push each part of the letters onto the surface. This will prevent bubbles. As you roll the film holder at a 90° angle, gently push the backside of the letter down with the spatula as the film remains loose. There are two parts to this part On the boat, the type looked great because it was reflective. The color of the trim on the boat matched the color of the sample. The product is exactly as described. I would definitely purchase.

This was such an improvement over buying actual letters and gluing them to the boat one at a time
5/5

I bought these to decorate an old jon boat I got There was a leak but it was not serious because it was over 50 years old and neglected. It was a good cigar I gave him in return. However, the trim was worn out and needed to be replaced. In sum, I ordered these and received outstanding service and an item that appears to be pretty great. Only time will tell how long they will last, but nothing about them suggests they won't last for years to come. In American English, they were clearly described in the instructions that came with them. It was simple and quick to install. The instructions were easy to follow. There are two sets of the same item I ordered. The boat number and the boat name should both be on the registration card. Each was excellent in its own way. A picture of this appeared on my Instagram. It looks really great, doesn't it? I really like it!.

I'm pretty satisfied with it There are some problems with the application
4/5

It shipped very fast. Once applied, it did what it said on the site. Because I have never worked with decals before, I encountered a few problems applying them. The first issue was some letters would come away from the top sheet and stay attached to the backing paper when peeled off. After the letters had been laid out on the boat, some of them stuck to the top sheet and came away from the surface after When you use this product you must work very slowly and carefully. If you notice parts lifting, you need to drag them down again. When you peel the layers, pull them flush with the surface you are sticking them It is also cut by hand and is not always square, since it is cut by hand. It does not change the quality of the letters, but it does make alignment a little tricky since the eye is drawn to the pattern of the backing paper, rather than the pattern.

Make sure you read the directions before using the water based product
4/5

Having already botched a previous application of adhesive boat numbers on a boat with a flared hull, I decided to get these instead. The place and stick ones seemed to be adhesive-based. My mistake for not reading the instructions. Turned out they stayed on a clean, unwaxed surface after running soapy water over them. In recognition of my extra worry and the fact that I had to spot strip wax from my freshly waxed boat, I took a star off.
