Hugs just a little bit tighter than 1/2 inch. Mine has a big groove in it, but my wife and I did the Rubicon the day after we put it on, and it saved us a lot of time and made the experience more pleasant. Although granite nut makes a loud noise while dragging, it does not cause damage to it
The u- and v- shaped parts of the body are covered It was the best choice for me because it was a joint. The kit replaces the Dana 44 rear axle on my 2007 JK. I would think it would fit as long as your ZJ has a Dana 44 rear end.

There were no issues and the installation went smoothly. I'd like to point out that this is a very good Trail testing will be a THOROUGH process for me to do. The cable matched up without any problem and was simple enough to install solo (with the help of a jack and a I will tell you the bad now. The holes on the outside of the frame where the new bolts are installed are not big enough for a socket or wrench to be inserted through them. My recommendation would be this over different covers every time.
I love this hat because it's heavy duty and very easy to put on . Input 0).
Easy to install, but not easy to maintain. I found one of the screws to be out of place. It would be a good idea to have someone with a lift do the installation or to have two people under your Jeep. My local Jeep outfitter will install it if I don't succeed in getting it done myself.
