The U Shape Edge Guard is not like others which use cheap hard plastic.

LIQUID GLUE IS NO LONGER USED IN THE TRIM. To prevent messing up your paint you can use 3M Self Adhesive tape. A liquid glue will melt when the weather is too hot or the temperature is above 75 degrees. In addition, those bad trims will slide out from the door once the glue has hardened.

It is designed for heavy duty use and is used in the aerospace A protector is available for chips as well as abrasions.

This thick material wasn't able to bend easily

It was also tough to adhere to the surface due to its thickness. I could not get this film to adhere to my door edges because it was so thick. It is also very hard to cut right, even with a razor blade, due to its thickness. Because this film is so thick, it reminds me of the hood protector devices. Considering it has no pliable properties whatsoever (even when heated), it has not worked well for changing the door edge angle. I only used a small portion and returned the kit in its entirety. A much thinner, softer door edge is needed, which will not easily bend and is not freaking industrial strength. I hate it.

We are fine. Please don't try to take it off. You will have to clean glue for quite some.

From the appearance of this roll, it is taken from a larger one

There is no indication that this roll is cut from a larger one. Thus, it has not been cut in a straight line Some thin threads dangle that I had to trim off. Overall, the book is fairly clean and in some spots has some wear.

Unfortunately, they have run out of tape and have decided to tape two sections together instead of using an entire roll. The car was barely finished due to the lack of funds. Issuance of a joint forced almost a complete removal of a section.
